Title: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Ancient Sim on 2006 March 15, 01:13:02 I have this 3-storey townhouse, occupied by two couples, Twain & his Diva and Posie Flump & a born-in-game Sim, plus a Servo. One side is the living quarters, the other is a home business (toys, robots & the odd painting). Running underneath is a basement with no access, but somehow or other, visitors are managing to find their way into the basement and are then unable to get out. Just in time I rescued Circe Beaker, then today I discovered Hegelian in a pool of pee crying his eyes out and almost dead. Just as I was about to exit the lot at the end of the day's business, I noticed a familiar head bobbing up & down - yes, Sim Brynne is now stuck down there. At the moment she's not in any danger of starving or even peeing herself, but she will be eventually if I don't let her out.
Now, I said that as soon as a townie got stuck down there, I'd leave them to rot, and Brynne is a townie. Hegelian used to be, but luckily for him (or not) he married Brandi Broke. She ain't gonna be too pleased with him though, he just spent far too much on a Sentry Bot they don't even need and there's his poor wife desperately trying to save up enough money to buy a small lot so she can start a little cafe ... but I digress. So, the question is simple (and I don't expect more than one person to choose Option 5 or something is wrong somewhere ...). Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Assmitten on 2006 March 15, 01:22:20 Aw, sad, poor Brynne. Brynne is too nice to kill. She should be given immortal status. ;D
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Ancient Sim on 2006 March 15, 01:30:19 OK, so either Brynne's been here already, or an impostor/wannabe. My bet is on the latter, 'cos I can't see Brynne coming without saying summat.
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: kewian on 2006 March 15, 01:30:40 poor Brynne!!! :'(

Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Metalkatt on 2006 March 15, 04:37:04 I can somehow see Brynne tunnelling her way out and accidentally finding herself in JM's bunker, surrounded by attack cats.
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Ephraim on 2006 March 15, 04:42:49 Up to four Brynnes now. :D
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: gali on 2006 March 15, 05:03:55 The person, who dares to kill OUR Brynne, will die immediately in a horrible way...:).
Pictures will be included...:) Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Zoltan on 2006 March 15, 05:39:08 I voted for the "piss & release" option :D
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: RainbowTigress on 2006 March 15, 06:54:23 How could you even THINK of letting Brynne die??? She is too awesome to die! Release her immediately, you horrible woman!
(guess which one I voted for?) Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Ilikecoffee on 2006 March 15, 07:30:51 Voted earlier for immediate release, but now I'm feeling this overwhelming urge to be Brynne ;D
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Bangelnuts on 2006 March 15, 12:23:28 Poor Brynne! let her out of there immediately and put Benjamin Long in there for the reaper instead ;D

Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: DrBeast on 2006 March 15, 12:54:58 Why not toss all those buggers in there and watch them eat each other to death? Yes, I'm dreaming of more painful ways to kill those goddamn townies! Deleteallcharacters was too merciful for them!
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: cwieberdink on 2006 March 15, 12:59:06 Why not toss all those buggers in there and watch them eat each other to death? Yes, I'm dreaming of more painful ways to kill those goddamn townies! Deleteallcharacters was too merciful for them! Could someone make a Soylent green machine? Cannibalism, yummy! eta: if someone could modify the cow plant mesh to look like a machine.... and the output to look like a wafer instead of a glass.... it could work... C Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: siggylove on 2006 March 15, 13:09:34 I don't know Brynne that well but from what I've seen of her here, my first instinct would be to say let her out you meanie!
However, I couldn't help snickering at Zoltan's vote and it's only a game after all, so go on, let her piss herself first lol ::) Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Zeljka on 2006 March 15, 13:14:12 I'm with Rainbow...
Though I completely understand and respect your decision to let townies die, Brynne is not just any townie... She's Brynne, and how could anyone let her go in such a unflashy unglorious way? It would just be wrong (heh heh -TaWanda) Obviously the fact that you're consulting us demonstrates you feel the same..(and therefore NOT a horrible woman) Guess that's why I can't play the Maty Sims... I wouldn't be able to separate the person from the Sim ;) Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: SimJymm on 2006 March 15, 13:57:36 All townies are not born equal. Maxis townies can fend for themselves; please save all the others "at your convenience ;) "
It's too bad your basement has become a Venus flytrap or is it pitcher plant for sims. Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Brynne on 2006 March 15, 17:26:49 I AM BRYNNE AND I SAY LET ME OUT NOW.
NOW, DAMMIT. NOW!!! Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Ancient Sim on 2006 March 15, 18:05:06 Wondered when you'd turn-up ...
Anyway, I can't let you out yet because I have a few other lots to play before the one you're stuck on comes back into the circulation. AND, I could leave that one until the very end, which means I would have about 30 others to play first ... more if I go to Uni as well. Incidentally, the very next lot I played was the Delarosa one and I'd barely been there five minutes before you turned-up as the 10.30 am walkby. You didn't stay though, because nobody ever stays on home business lots in my game if the business is closed. No idea if this is intentional or not, but it's very annoying. Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Brynne on 2006 March 15, 18:12:41 Sounds like you're already leaning towards killing my sim .
Thinking you're not very happy with Sim Brynne at the moment... :P Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Motoki on 2006 March 15, 18:20:02 nobody ever stays on home business lots in my game if the business is closed. No idea if this is intentional or not, but it's very annoying. Hmm, I wonder if that is the source of my walkby issues. >:( It's been annoying me so much I started a thread about it. Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Ancient Sim on 2006 March 15, 18:23:50 Sounds like you're already leaning towards killing my sim . Thinking you're not very happy with Sim Brynne at the moment... :P Well, I think you'd make a nice ghost, but NO, of course I won't let you die. Anyway, I can't, you haven't woo-hooed with Don Lothario yet. I have intentions of maybe letting you get caught with risky woo-hoo ... Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: angelyne on 2006 March 15, 18:32:52 I vote to put a Cow Plant down in the basement. That should solve your rat....err townie problem.
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Brynne on 2006 March 15, 18:52:37 Anyway, I can't, you haven't woo-hooed with Don Lothario yet. I have intentions of maybe letting you get caught with risky woo-hoo ... THAT would show me, wouldn't it? After what I did to Don in my game and making him adopt 9 cast-off toddlers! :D Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: ElfPuddle on 2006 March 15, 19:39:53 I second the cow-plant motion...after you let our Brynne out.
(You aren't horrible.....but the evil you that considered killing Brynne.........she's nasty!) Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? "Put the camera down, Radio!" "No." "Please?" "No." I'm *shocked* you don't remember this. Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: radiophonic on 2006 March 16, 03:11:30 Cripes. Damn that Black Velvet.

Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: ChibyMethos on 2006 March 16, 21:51:13 I second the cow-plant.
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Brynne on 2006 March 17, 16:20:34 There should be an option for all ChibyMethoses and angelynes to be fed to their beloved Cow Plant...just cuz I say so. ;)
To the other 9 Brynnes: Thank you for my support. Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Wait until she wets herself, then take pity on her Brynne wouldn't be Brynne without a little wee-wee :D Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Brynne on 2006 March 17, 16:46:42 That Brynne/pee thing...urban legend. ;D

Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: jack_d_spratt on 2006 March 17, 17:03:20 Poor Brynne! let her out of there immediately and put Benjamin Long in there for the reaper instead ;D Thanks for reminding me. I married Benjamin "The Snout" Long into my legacy family and never did breed that nose out. 6 generations looked like aardvarks. Only Sim I ever hated, and you had to remind me of his existence.I'm gonna start a new neighborhood and kill him again. Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Wolfee on 2006 March 18, 03:49:43 Please save her, she's too nice to kill, but feel free to kill the rest of the townies. While we're on the subject of townies, why is Brynne a lowly townie? I think you should save her from that too. I never let my Sims even associate with them. She deserves better
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Brynne on 2006 March 18, 04:19:05 Thanks, Wolfee! What a sweet thing to say! :)
Title: Re: Should Brynne Live or Die? Post by: Ancient Sim on 2006 March 22, 08:17:47 Well, all the Maty sims I downloaded started as townies, so they could find their own ways to their own intendeds. Quite a few of them are playable now and all the ones who started as teens have been to Uni, having achieved the necessary townie requirement of either being best friends with a playable Sim and/or having 3 lightning bolts with one. Brynne isn't playable as yet because the only person she's involved with is Don Lothario and he's currently taken, but she'll find her true love eventually no doubt.
Anyway ... in the end she peed herself before I remembered to check on her, so I deleted her after that (in other words, she's saved). I tried to sell her pee puddle in the home business, but it said it couldn't be sold. I've heard of others selling them, so maybe they can only be sold on business lots. Pity, I was going to charge $1000 simoleans for it. There may have been something wrong with it though, because as soon as I placed it down, it started to mysteriously evaporate until there was only a teeny-weeny bit left. Never seen that before, maybe her wee-wee has magical properties. |
