More Awesome Than You!

I have this 3-storey townhouse, occupied by two couples, Twain & his Diva and Posie Flump & a born-in-game Sim, plus a Servo.  One side is the living quarters, the other is a home business (toys, robots & the odd painting).  Running underneath is a basement with no access, but somehow or other, visitors are managing to find their way into the basement and are then unable to get out.  Just in time I rescued Circe Beaker, then today I discovered Hegelian in a pool of pee crying his eyes out and almost dead.  Just as I was about to exit the lot at the end of the day's business, I noticed a familiar head bobbing up & down - yes, Sim Brynne is now stuck down there.  At the moment she's not in any danger of starving or even peeing herself, but she will be eventually if I don't let her out.

Now, I said that as soon as a townie got stuck down there, I'd leave them to rot, and Brynne is a townie.  Hegelian used to be, but luckily for him (or not) he married Brandi Broke.  She ain't gonna be too pleased with him though, he just spent far too much on a Sentry Bot they don't even need and there's his poor wife desperately trying to save up enough money to buy a small lot so she can start a little cafe ... but I digress.

So, the question is simple (and I don't expect more than one person to choose Option 5 or something is wrong somewhere ...).

Aw, sad, poor Brynne. Brynne is too nice to kill. She should be given immortal status.  ;D

OK, so either Brynne's been here already, or an impostor/wannabe.  My bet is on the latter, 'cos I can't see Brynne coming without saying summat.

I don't know Brynne that well but from what I've seen of her here, my first instinct would be to say let her out you meanie!

However, I couldn't help snickering at Zoltan's vote and it's only a game after all, so go on, let her piss herself first lol  ::)

Though I completely understand and respect your decision to let townies die, Brynne is not just any townie... She's Brynne, and how could anyone let her go in such a unflashy unglorious way? It would just be wrong (heh heh -TaWanda) Obviously the fact that you're consulting us demonstrates you feel the same..(and therefore NOT a horrible woman)

Guess that's why I can't play the Maty Sims... I wouldn't be able to separate the person from the Sim ;)

Anyway, I can't let you out yet because I have a few other lots to play before the one you're stuck on comes back into the circulation.  AND, I could leave that one until the very end, which means I would have about 30 others to play first ... more if I go to Uni as well. 

Incidentally, the very next lot I played was the Delarosa one and I'd barely been there five minutes before you turned-up as the 10.30 am walkby.  You didn't stay though, because nobody ever stays on home business lots in my game if the business is closed.  No idea if this is intentional or not, but it's very annoying.

I vote to put a Cow Plant down in the basement.  That should solve your rat....err townie problem.

Thanks for reminding me.  I married Benjamin "The Snout" Long into my legacy family and never did breed that nose out.  6 generations looked like aardvarks.  Only Sim I ever hated, and you had to remind me of his existence.

I'm gonna start a new neighborhood and kill him again.

Please save her, she's too nice to kill, but feel free to kill the rest of the townies. While we're on the subject of townies, why is Brynne a lowly townie? I think you should save her from that too. I never let my Sims even associate with them. She deserves better

Well, all the Maty sims I downloaded started as townies, so they could find their own ways to their own intendeds.  Quite a few of them are playable now and all the ones who started as teens have been to Uni, having achieved the necessary townie requirement of either being best friends with a playable Sim and/or having 3 lightning bolts with one.  Brynne isn't playable as yet because the only person she's involved with is Don Lothario and he's currently taken, but she'll find her true love eventually no doubt. 

Anyway ... in the end she peed herself before I remembered to check on her, so I deleted her after that (in other words, she's saved).  I tried to sell her pee puddle in the home business, but it said it couldn't be sold.  I've heard of others selling them, so maybe they can only be sold on business lots.  Pity, I was going to charge $1000 simoleans for it.  There may have been something wrong with it though, because as soon as I placed it down, it started to mysteriously evaporate until there was only a teeny-weeny bit left.  Never seen that before, maybe her wee-wee has magical properties.
