Wooo!  A OFB friendly SimPE is finally out, plus it's got lots of new features.  Now our TS2 experience is complete :)

Oh dear, I hope not!  I like it so much better than the new interface, and I can't figure out how to find anything in the new one.  ;_;

I know, same here. I don't know how to do much in SimPE, but what I do know is mostly in the Classic Interface.  When I get home I'll check it out. Has anyone confirmed if it's gone or not?

...and from the release notes:
Quote
SimPE classic is no longer part of our Releases. As a surrogate you can change the look and feel of SimPE to classic. (In the Startmenu with SimPE->Presets->classic, or by executing SimPE classic.bat in the SimPE Directory)

...which will have to do.  TorklePE is complete and utter vaporware.  I have failed in my quest for minion-hood.  I blame that stupid RealLife thing with all of its work, family, taxes, bills and such.

That sucks that it didn't work out, Torkle.  Thanks anyway for trying.  Damn the real life!  :P

The classic version is no longer available, instead the option to switch to classic mode is built-in. (SimPE -> Presets -> Classic) or by executing the batchfile located in the install directory.

Hey, I'm just reading the text from the "Updates" dialog. I like the new interface.
