This bears an uncanny resemblance to a blank page.

sounded great but

Note:
the 2 evil ones kill sims(this may affect children in odd ways(buggy) do not use on children.

that part sucks! not that I want my sim kids dying but taking motive hits would be nice!

I noticed last night when I was playing that a toddler didn't even take a motive hit for being scared by the Maxis evil clown box, would have been nice if the poor kid had atleast pissed himself!!   :(  Whats the point of having evil toys if they don't actually affect the sims at all?

What? I haven't a clue what you all are talking about. I haven't played the toy crafter bench, or any toy stores yet, are you saying I'm missing something there? Evil toybox... do tell.

sims can make evil toys on the toy crafter bench but they can't choose to make them...yet anyway, I'm sure someone will come up with a hack to allow them to choose to make them.

the evil kite is rather cool, my daughters sim had a rather shocking experience when flying it, if I remember right that one atleast resulted in a motive hit  ;D

I see, lol. Next on my list is the toymaker bench then, definitely. I was still wrestling around with the salon, that'll be put on hold for the time being.

Thanks Sleepycat. Is there a way to tell the difference, or is it more the 'wait and find out' mode?

They are colored differently. Also, if it is a robot toy, it will spark. Apparently, (according to Prima, so who knows) a "good" toy -at least the robot ones- can break and then will act like an "evil" toy until fixed.

clown in a box - evil clown is scary
fire truck - no evil version
brick - no evil version (you think you'd be able to at least throw it thru a window)
twirl spin and wobble - no evil version
wet and wild - "evil" version causes puddles and weeds

That's funny Simmiecal. Wouldn't that be something to see? Townie kids (or any kids) throwing the brick toy through windows and breaking them. Now that would definitely be worthy of an 'evil' toy.

I would definitely like throwable bricks. That would be cool.

I wondered why all the robot toys one of my 'never made a toy before' Sim was making kept sparking.  Some of them have been bought now, mainly by townies as I recall, but I have a feeling Robert Broke bought one, presumably for his younger brother.  He bought some toy anyway.  Might be fun and games coming up, then ...

The first snapdragon plant my sim made was evil. It produced a cloud and the 3 people standing closest to it immediately peed themselves.  Then pointed and laughed at each other! What a hoot!

Children with a 'grumpy' disposition enjoy the evil toys. :P

So do grumpy adult sims. My grumpy toy/bot shop owner Troy spent several hours with an evil clown-in-the-box, winding the handle and then laughing delightedly and clapping.

That's so very appropriate.

Yeah, throwing the pet bricks would sure be fun. The sims would either get blood ozzing from heads or the see stars animation depending on the strength of the hit ...

Haha! I want to make some evil stinkdragons too and then lock sims that annoy me up in a room with several of them.  ;D

I am so glad I'm not a sim in your game. :)

Lego men are evil -- one of them bit me with his bottom when I was a kid.

Now there's a thought, ooh I could use them in the dorms.  I'll have to stockpile some in my future legacy house.

Don't forget they drop ALL your motives.  So your sims would likely starve to death as well.
