More Awesome Than You!

I played with children for the first time since OFB, I was surprised at how many options they have now, I love them. I might even start having family outings at parks now and stuff. Especially if they can fly kites on community lots. I'm thinking a park with a gift shop, and an item or two not for sale for "demonstration purposes".
Anyway, I tried "tell secret" and instead of dropping from que, the kids gossiped about their mom :).

Great, only took them about a year and half.  :P

Maybe a year or so from now they'll fix the cop not being able to interacted with when he breaks up a party, the nanny not being able to flush the potty bag down the toilet and teaching a toddler who drank smart milk to walk while the parent has a smart cap on, not to mention other annoyances like the darned phone and everyone's obsession with the damned kids and feeding them 10,000 bottles.  :P

Sorry, just had to get that out. I'm actually glad to hear this was fixed, and also changing a toddler's hair. Those are old OLD bugs/annoyances.

Yeah, but they seem to leave a baby next to a snapdragon alone.
I'm also thrilled that parents can now change a toddler's appearance. I was sure they were going to put that in when they gave us the animal hats. What was the point of releasing animal hats when only CAS toddlers can wear them!
Does the maid take out the trash? That's another idiotic thing.

It didn't work before?  My kids have been telling secrets at least since Nightlife... :-\

It always dropped out of queue for me before SOB, err, I mean, OFB. The first time I opened up a lot with kids post-OFB install, I saw 2 girl telling secrets to each other.  I was mighty pleased...

It has never worked for me. I haven't had a proper family since installing OFB, so I haven't had chance to test it out.

That went away with Nightlife for me.  Did it come back?

Oh it went away at one point? Drat, well it's back for me. Could be a hack with some old code overwriting the fix I suppose though.

Same here, but it seemed the relationship had to be quite high.

I've also always noticed that adults and teens have the option to "gossip" to children (or at least they used to, haven't checked in a while) but that always drops out of cue.  I've always wondered if it was there for a purpose or just a mistake.

I noticed this too, I think it's still there in OFB. Since it falls out of the queue every time, it sure looks like it's a mistake.

The tell secret secret option hasn't appeared in any of my simkids' talk options since I installed OFB. How queer is that? I assumed it had been deleted from the game ... must go back and investigate.

I think they have to be friends at least-maybe even best friends.

It worked maybe 50% of the time for me with NL...I haven't actually had anytime to play with simkids post OFB, since I'm playing my MATY hood...I've very much deserted my Prosperity hood now :P. So a current lack of simkids, although when I get around to it, Pescado and Kewian's daughter Ebony should be turning into a child. I'll use her for my test subject. :D
