Title: Turning college into child boarding school? Post by: ThyGuy on 2006 February 25, 05:20:04 I was looking at inges school modds, and then when I went back to play a YA, I got a wild idea. Put the kids in boarding school that is just a modified college. And while you're at it, make it so child dormies run around in this little boarding school.

I don't know if you've looked at the stories Inge has posted, but she is running a boarding school with the MATY self-sims. I was playing around with a boarding school of the MATY sims and had something like 18 of them running around.
As far as the "dormies" go - trust me, with that many running around, you can't micromanage them and a lot are left to fend for themselves. Also, I don't see why after you "added them to family" that you couldn't also make them unselectable, so they would be in essence boarding school "dormies". I took in all the children townies ( you know, the ugly pains that bother our poor simmies) and created more. So I guess it could work but I won't be sending the Sims I have and control, just those rotten townie ones. It sure would be nice to send them off and ignore ;D
