I would love to say ditto, but someone posted pics of this on mts2 (?) a while ago. Its a graphics glitch that shows up with some outfits on fat sims.

I've experienced this glitch as well.  Mary Sue Pleasant was wearing the new NL dress that has the fur/jacket thing around the shoulders.  It looked fine while she was fit, but all choppy when she gained weight.

Heh. You know, that sounds amusingly realistic from the text...I mean, if you were wearing something meant to be worn when thin, and then suddenly blew up like a balloon, it'd probably look like it was chopped by knives also.

It does, doesn't it? It reminds me of a friend who insisted on wearing his old hippie outfit. Unfortunately the outfit didn't grow, only he did and the result was downright comical. Although I'm sure it wasn't funny to him at the time. He was prancing around trying to convince us (and himself) that everything was hunky-dory. He moved his arms forward and riiiiip.... the shirt split right down the back. He wasn't at all consoled by another friends comment "Hey man, it could be worse. It could've been your pants."

Some of the men's sweaters are like that too.

Ohhh I've seen that two, with a couple of recolors I downloaded from TSR. So *that's* what it happens. I thought maybe something was weird with the recolor, but nope just Maxis being weird  :P
