Title: Question about no dormie regen hack... Post by: sara_dippity on 2005 August 07, 03:08:53 If I use it and kill off the ugly ones, and marry the pretty ones, what happens next? Simply empty rooms in the dorms, or a coughing sputtering game that tries to create dormies when none can be made? If I also install no SS regen, how many should I keep around? Like, ten, or are there already ten? I already have and love the no townie regen, just been a little afraid of messing up my dorms.
Title: Re: Question about no dormie regen hack... Post by: Renatus on 2005 August 07, 07:33:26 As far as I can tell, it works as advertised - no dormies. The game doesn't try to create any more with the hack installed, even with a dormie population of zero, and so doesn't affect game performace.
I made my four of my own Sims to be SS members, stuck them in the townie pool and gave them the SS token, and the game is happy with that. Title: Re: Question about no dormie regen hack... There are some tokens that are OK--cell phone, MP3 player. But the death token is BAD--using it has no other tangible benefit except that the game will think your Sim is dead, causing bugs, anomolies, and rockslides.
