Title: Cash Flow Statements Post by: eamethyst on 2006 February 02, 22:50:04 Does anyone remember in Sims 1, you could click (or maybe right click) on the family account balance and a nifty little cash flow statement would pop up, showing 2 columns, the current day and the past 3 days. If this option in available in TS2, I haven't discovered it yet, but there are times that I really would like to see where money has been coming from and going to. If anyone knows how to access this information in game, please share.

Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: Paperbladder on 2006 February 02, 23:29:38 I'm really surprised this isn't in TS2, this is one of the things I really used a lot in TS1. I also liked to see how many days I played, and all that other stuff.
Well, I had an object a long time ago called Carrigon's Magic Voodoo Bottle or something that told the networth of a sim, but I'm not certain where you would get it. My guess would be VariousSimmers but I haven't been there in a long time. Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: radiophonic on 2006 February 02, 23:33:03 Sounds like a job for His Awesomeness. ;)

Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: SaraMK on 2006 February 03, 05:40:45 Maybe it will be in OFB? It's the sort of thing that would make sense.
Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: skandelouslala on 2006 February 03, 06:10:12 I miss this too! It seemed like such a simple feature in TS1, I can't believe they didn't put it in TS2.
Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: Persephone on 2006 February 03, 08:16:44 I miss that ALOT. I also miss how it used to rate your house's layout and upkeep..
Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: Regina on 2006 February 03, 08:29:00 I really miss the financial info, too. I don't, however, miss that whole lay-out score. LOL The only time I could get a good lay-out score was when my sims lived in a one-room house! :P
Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: buddha pest on 2006 February 03, 08:36:16 I also liked to see how many days I played I always see people talking about this, but I never noticed it when I was playing.Where exactly were you able to see it? Just curious. Title: Re: Cash Flow Statements Post by: Regina on 2006 February 03, 08:42:15 If I remember right, the days played in the household was in with the financial info. I could be wrong. I think the longest I played a family in one household was 30-some days. And that was because it was such a funny house I couldn't bear to move the family out of it. It was shaped like Mickey Mouse's head, had bright pink siding with a green roof, and all the furnishings were in neon colors. The husband was in the journalism career track, the wife an actress, and in their spare time they entertained the neighborhood with a lot of parties.

I liked to see how much money was coming in and out, especially where the money was going. If I had a broke family then I'd check and see where most of the money was going, maid/gardener, build/buy, etc, so I could cut back on that area, if possible...
There are quite a few things from the Sims1 that I miss, and there are some that I was surprised to see that they haven't been incorporated into the Sims2. The lack of financial statements fits into the latter category. |
