Title: Roof top swimming pool tutorial?
Post by: C.S. on 2006 January 18, 16:45:27
Well, a few days ago, I saw somebody linking a picture to a lot that has a roof top swimming pool. Somebody else asked how building a pool above terrain level was done, I wanted to know too but forgot to opt for 'notify'. Now I can't remember what the title of that thread was, and a search earlier didn't turn up anything relevant. Does anyone know how that could be done, or where I can find a tutorial for that? Thanks in advance.

I did, before I came back here to ask. Didn't find any new stuff about building swimming pools, but thanks :).

I used Jonesi's tutorial for several buildings I made. It was easy to follow and I like the results. The animation is a little strange for the ladder, but otherwise works fine.

Ah, thanks for the tip.

I've been looking for a 6BR house (2 double bed bedrooms, 4 single) to hold 3 generations, lot of gorgeous ones out there (still drooling over the one Bluesoup made for bloodstainedkisses (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=2274.msg65155#msg65155)) but probably too big for my pc to handle. In the end, I figured instead of spending yet another few more days searching websites and downloading those that's close to what I want and testing it out to see how the lot plays, I might as well use that time to build my own :-\. I'm trying to squeeze everything on a 3x3 lot that has some ground space left to put career rewards for whenever my sims need to build skills. I can build but just barely, very slow at it and hates it.
