More Awesome Than You!

I'm looking for white trash, and redneck sort of themed clothing, hair, lots, etc, etc.

I found a few on TSR, but not nearly enough clothes. I intend to make a new neighbourhood, and fill with rednecks, and hicks. Y'know, with a few tossed in nice houses, just to make it look strange. ^^ Probably make it a desert terrian.

Oh, thanks for the links to that greek house... that will defiently go in the college neighbourbood! Those sims are SO going in my game!

By the way, there's a complete set for making a dunny over at TSR2.  I use the wooden box loo a lot, it's actually the expensive one, though!

Just as trashy as can be. Actually, I'll be looking for quite a few.

If someone would be kind enough to build a couple for them, I could certainly find a way to repay them, somehow... o.o

I downloaded a medieval castle, from the link I gave, and it was in there. ^^

if you search at MTS2 you will find a number of "Trashed" type of things pop up.

I found tires over at http://www.parsimonious.org/ Look in the children's bedrooms.  it's an end table.

I just deleted my trailer trash family today. :D
The grouchy lazy sims kept making trouble on community lots, so I gradually killed them off.  Today I noticed that all that was left was one pregnant woman and three toddlers, so I thought it was time I saw what the social worker looked like.

Well, do you mean Southern States trailer trashy, NY apartments trashy, English council house trashy?  There are so many kinds of trashy, it would help to know what style house you're starting from!

I don't really like the trash set at MTS2, because it's a little too over the top trashy for my taste.

I have made do with mostly the Maxis default "trashy" item and the following items at The Sims Resource

The Urban Renewal series from CycloneSue.  Easily the best "trashy" houses out there.  She made a couple of run down apartments complexes, an abandoned house, an abandoned garage (perfect for the redneck look), a really run down trailer. http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Cyclonesue/downloads/sims2/lots

Also in her industrial age series she has one entry: The Old Viaduct, which is a perfect set for a "homeless person living" under a bridge scenario

For furniture I use Betsy4arts sets "Pete's Crummy Bedroom, Crummy Living Room and Crummy kitchen.

A couple of carefully selected objects from the trash set at MTS2 completes the set.

I think you will want CycloneSue, garage.  it sooooo fits in with your theme.

Also, over at MTS2, Blinky or BInky, I can't recall the name offhand has made a whole series of delightfully gross characters, in exactly the "red neck" style.  You should check them out.  If nothing else, you could use the custom clothing he made for them.

Thank you all SO MUCH for the links. I intend to get working on this Neighbourhood right away. I've been having a lot of problems, in my life lately -coughs, and blushes- so this will serve as a distraction for me. ^^

God, I sound horridly stupid... but downloaded sims= in my downloads folder, or saved sims? I don't download many sims. x.x

Thanks so much for this link.  I was a devoted fan of McTrick's Sims 1 stuff, and am so glad to see she's doing things for Sims 2.
