Title: Sweetie, you're scary when you smile
Post by: cwieberdink on 2006 January 09, 00:06:34
My self-sims house in Pleasantview has something weird going on with people's mouths.  I saw my self-sim doing it in MATYville also.  These sims look totally normal in CAS, it is only in game that they do this so I am at a loss how to fix it.

any ideas?  This sim is worse than the others, but they are almost all doing it to some degree.

I had it several times, usually when I resurrected unlinked pre-made sims (Lyla Grunt had very ugly defect in her mouth).

Try to make surgery with Dr Vu's  set, it fixes the glitch.

Thanks Gali.  I'll try it.  So they won't pass it on to offspring?  These sims were all CAS sims.  I would take the born in game sims, export them to body shop, change them how I wanted, and surgery them back in with SimPE.  Maybe that is the glitch causer.

The exact same thing happened to my sims :P , most of the times a sim that had been subject of a facial surgery (using SimPe's sim surgery) would end up with the face like that, especially after growing up.
But it was cured simply by changing appearance with a mirror, so it's just a(nother) minor glitch.

Yeah, Brynne helped me out with the mirror trick.  I thought I had changed them with the mirror, but maybe it was pre-surgery and not post.
At any rate, it did help.
