Title: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 06, 20:08:05 Originally on TSR, but I hate paysites :P
This is a new mesh. It shouldn't f*** up your game, but I will accept NO responsibility if it does. Special thanks to: Missmushiebun Andygal (http://www.susiesims2much.com/Data/html/files/imgs/db-mushietv.jpg) (Please note, the picture was taken during development) [404'ed!] Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Giggy on 2006 January 12, 09:02:47 wow...uh thanks but I wont download as I have already got crap but that is so messed up. could u please send one that is finished
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 12, 18:54:07 It is. It's been done since August and clocked over 1000 downloads at TSR. *Database watch Pescado spit* :P
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: HelloKit on 2006 January 12, 21:17:57 It is. It's been done since August and clocked over 1000 downloads at TSR. *Database watch Pescado spit* :P I think he/she was referring to the picture. I won't download something either unless I'm sure it looks a lot better than that.Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 13, 19:26:30 It does - the edges are just cleaner.

Eww. Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: JavaChild on 2006 January 15, 07:06:51 I think it's great that you did this Data and were also so willing to share. I've no inclination to mesh myself but I imagine that it must take lots of time n' practice n' fine-tuning over time. Mostly my co-dependent self is hoping that you don't let the comments of others get you down so go data go... Or something cheery n' optimistic like that anyway. ;)
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 15, 13:03:16 Thank you JavaChild. Feel free to recolour it :D
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 16, 18:20:18 Nice "constructive criticism", guys. Sheesh.
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: BlueSoup on 2006 January 16, 18:28:29 Data, I think it's absolutely fabulous you can do meshes, design websites and create hacks, and all at the low low age of 12 ;)
Keep it up and I'm sure one day you'll be one of the premier game modders out there. :) Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 16, 18:30:29 Yes, I second both Javachild and Blue.
I couldn't mesh to save my life. Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: HelloKit on 2006 January 16, 19:32:11 don't let the comments of others get you down Comments? giggy asked for an updated photo of the finished product... how is that a comment? If you want people to download your work, you don't post a crappy photo of a half-finished product, and then refuse to even take the extra two seconds to post a finished one when someone asks. My "comment" was also no reflection on the finished product, since I hadn't even seen it yet. It was on the original half-finished photo... which is of course going to look like crap. That's why you post a photo of the finished product, not an unfinished one. Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: BlueSoup on 2006 January 16, 19:43:00 There's a difference in asking for a picture of the finished product, and being snotty about it.
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 16, 19:46:16 Jeez. There is a thing called "being NICE". I wonder if we can send you someplace to teach you this important skill?
P.S. Thanks Brynne and BlueSoup! Quote My "comment" was also no reflection on the finished product, since I hadn't even seen it yet. Oh. ::) Try LOOKING AT THE ACTUAL THING BEFORE TELLING ME IT'S CRAP, M'KAY?!Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: kewian on 2006 January 16, 19:56:16 Geez...could you be a bigger bitch? Data that is way cool and I totally agree with Blue..you are way ahead of me. If you dont like it dont download it. Prototypes arent illegal you know.
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 16, 19:58:40 Thanks Kewian.
I think this is gonna be bumped to Retardo before long Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 16, 19:59:43 and then refuse to even take the extra two seconds to post a finished one when someone asks. Who says I refused?Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Zeljka on 2006 January 16, 20:24:09 I didn't look at the thread before now as I have to install the EPs before getting anything else, but I think it's a great mesh.
Ever heard of constructive criticism or just saying nothing if you have nothing useful to add? Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: cwieberdink on 2006 January 16, 21:00:37 Database is cool and anyone that is mean to him is not. That's all. :P
ETA: Where's Trubble's keyboard when you need it..... and also: see my sig. C Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Liss on 2006 January 16, 21:05:56 You guys are assholes. Ask anyone here, I NEVER lose my temper, but this is totally uncalled for. I'd like to see YOU make a better mesh. Before you go putting down something you say you aren't going to use anyway, try doing it yourself to see how "easy" (not) it is. Care to share any pics of your own meshes????
Good job Data. ;) Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: C.S. on 2006 January 16, 21:12:55 From some of the comments above, I could be mis-led into thinking some people thought it's their birthright that somebody make new stuffs to add variety to their game.
I thought the nice and polite thing to do is keep your opinions to yourself and just don't download if you didn't like what you see, instead of telling the creator that you think you "wont download as (you) have already got crap", or has the nice and polite thing to do gone out of fashion? Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2006 January 17, 07:45:04 Jeez. There is a thing called "being NICE". I wonder if we can send you someplace to teach you this important skill? Being *NICE*? On MATY? Is this some kind of a sick joke?Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 17, 07:49:25 "Tactful". Better, JM?
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 17, 08:52:14 Jeez. There is a thing called "being NICE". I wonder if we can send you someplace to teach you this important skill? Being *NICE*? On MATY? Is this some kind of a sick joke?Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: cristalfiona on 2006 January 17, 12:12:22 It looks pretty cool, but unfortunately is far too big for most of my sims houses. Is it a 3 square piece?
And im not allowed to download anything else- my computer wont let me until i get rid of some. Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Database on 2006 January 17, 18:21:09 It is 3 squares - or at least, the mesh is. It thinks it takes up 1.
Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: HelloKit on 2006 January 18, 21:44:18 I retract the wording of my last post. Chalk it up to a bad day and being sick of being misinterpreted.
Quote from: giggy wow...uh thanks but I wont download as I have already got crap but that is so messed up. could u please send one that is finished Yes, his/her wording was unclear, but all giggy was trying to say is that he/she doesn't want to download something without knowing what the finished product looks like. We all want to keep our download folders from getting overcrowded, so we tend to be picky about what we download. We can't be picky if we don't know what it looks like. Some of us, possibly giggy included, are also on dialup, and it can be a waste of time to download something just to find out what it looks like, and then decide you don't want to keep it. I merely clarified giggy's point and agreed that I also do not download without seeing what I'm downloading. That goes anywhere, on any site. If they post an unfinished pic or none at all, I don't download it. Regardless of how many others endorse it. Quote from: Database Try LOOKING AT THE ACTUAL THING BEFORE TELLING ME IT'S CRAP, M'KAY?! Please see above. Title: Re: Mushie TV Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 18, 21:48:08 HelloKit, I'm only speaking for myself, but I didn't think your post was bad. I think we were referring to the ones who were just being rude for the sake of rudeness. I didn't see your comment that way.
