I'd like to hear about this! Does it involve the Social Bunny, cause that would be funny. My test is to put them into bed>woo-hoo...no "try for a baby?" Congrats, you're up the spout! ;D
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: gali on 2006 January 03, 22:16:21 Yes, I have it, and use it. It's Shaklin's hack, but her site is closed. If you want it - e-mail me, and I'll send it to you.
May be she openned it again: Edit: Thanks, Gwill, for the right link! I will put it here too: http://shaklin.kilu.net/modules/PDdownloads/ Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: cheriem on 2006 January 03, 22:26:10 Gali, will you email the pregnancy test to me please. I did a search on the name of the place she said was hosting her stuff, but I can't find any sims stuff listed. Thank you for your help.
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Darkstormyeve on 2006 January 03, 22:29:13 Thanks Gali. I haven't played the Sims2 for a whileand haven't been here either for ages so couldn't remember if Reg was Val! Thanks for telling me who is who.
I will check the site now. Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Darkstormyeve on 2006 January 03, 22:39:00 I downloaded Lizzlove's bed and wasn't too adapt at it. Threw a party not long after getting it and jez, there were sims waiting in line to use it!
So, finally worked out the settings and then my couple who hosted the party threw a wedding party. One of the guests, Jen Burb started puking her guts up and now I'm not sure who the father is! I would like to know before the baby is born so that I can decide what path their marriage should take as John is pretty keen on Brandi Broke. Oh dear. What a mess! Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 03, 22:42:27 I use the one in the dma teleporter from here:
http://valdea.com/ You don't know who the father is? Wow, that is a mess! ;) *sim Brynne has a similar sitch* Val/Reg :P Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Kristalrose on 2006 January 03, 22:49:22 There's one in the insiminator. Just click on "Pregnancy Stats" and it will tell you the total hours pregnant, the number of babies, and the father of the baby. :)
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: vecki on 2006 January 03, 22:52:14 I use the one in the dma teleporter from here: http://valdea.com/ You don't know who the father is? Wow, that is a mess! ;) *sim Brynne has a similar sitch* Val/Reg :P That's my favourite object ever - except it doesn't show pregnancy details for abducted men. :'( Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: cheriem on 2006 January 03, 22:59:48 Thank you all so very much. I again apprciate how helpful you've all been.
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Sleepycat on 2006 January 04, 00:27:11 I use InSIM for checking the stats and sometimes I use it to speed up the pregnancy ;D
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 04, 00:48:16 me too...I know it's considered "not awesome", but I find the Insim invaluable, lately...
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Jorenne on 2006 January 04, 00:50:57 Know what I think the best part of the Insim is?
Take a look at the credits real close and see if you can tell :P Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 04, 00:52:53 Hi, Jorenne!
Yeah, I think I can guess... ;) Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: JeanMaas on 2006 January 04, 01:01:25 vecky - I have used InSIM on my abducted male, works fine, well. i think. the baby isn't born yet.
jean Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: vecki on 2006 January 04, 01:17:44 The shaklin medicine cabinet does show the male pregnancy info too! InSim and InTeen make me nervous :D
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: JeanMaas on 2006 January 04, 01:30:59 :D i've been talked into using the InSIM, they told me it was more safe then testingcheats, well don't know, still tying to get used to it. some things i like, but now i know how many baby's they are expecting. some how i 'don't like to know this. as for exspecting birth-time i just looked at the time when their belly does ..ploink.. and add 25 hours.
jean Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Kyna on 2006 January 04, 01:31:41 InSim and InTeen make me nervous :D Me too. I much prefer mods that only do one or two things, then I know I won't run into conflicts because some huge mod is clashing with my favourite mods. I use Shaklin's medicine cabinet. Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Sandilou on 2006 January 04, 01:36:25 Insim and Inteem are fantastic for lazy people like me who don't use Simpe or Boolprop. I am totally dependent on them, and I don't (usually) cheat in my game. They are both so easy to use, especially because you don't have to remember the correct spelling of any 'cheats' to access the info that you want. I think that Macrotastics is more complex than Insim and Inteem because you have to add on extra bits (like the toilet controller which you have to set correctly) to make it work properly.
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Brynne on 2006 January 04, 01:37:52 I'm totally hooked on them too, sandilou. Insim is great because you can change things you'd normally have to exit the game to do in simpe.
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: JeanMaas on 2006 January 04, 02:27:46 Well, knowing me i probalby wil get hooked too. anyway the InSIM is my first mod, i'm very new with this modding thing. the dailygardner is my second, and i'm hooked allready, because i stopped having gardens for my simmies. well, in time more and more will follow.
jean Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Sleepycat on 2006 January 04, 02:37:12 Eric has put in alot of hours to fix InSIM so it dosen't conflict with alot of hacks (currently I have about 120 hacks in, mostly Inges, Crammyboys, JMs,TwoJeffs and Syberspunks)
I think what it comes down to is I perfer InSIM because I can do things in game (why would I want to close the game to change something in SimPE when I can do it in-game in less then a minute?) and I hate typing in cheats! InSIM may do alot but you only need to spawn the sectionals "as and when" needed and delete them (without having to go into buy mode) when you no longer need them and you can ignore any parts of it you don't need or want to use. (I suggest the DEST or SIM editions, I recently switched back to the DEST edition) InSIM is not perfect (nothing is) and I have a few hacks that do the same thing as a sectional in InSIM but they do it in a different way and I find that way to be easier for me (ie; TwoJeff's collegeadjuster and Inge's TeleporterShrubPlus) but they all play nice together so I get two ways of doing something instead of one *laughs* O and say you've taken a sim to a community Lot and their needs are low or they need to be friends with someone fast, just spawn the needed sectional and bink all taken care of ;D Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Kristalrose on 2006 January 06, 19:32:19 I use the INsim a lot for exactly the same reasons. I used it once to alter a sm's age, and she did it perfectly, moving back from an elder to an adult. Then I took her downtown and let her have a torrid affair with Count Jay, and now she is my Vampire Queen! :) I just wish I had originally named her something more exciting than Tina. "The Vampire Queen Tina" sounds just as lame as "Count Jay" in my book. LMAO
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Sandilou on 2006 January 06, 20:27:15 The strangest thing I've ever done with Insim was summon Ms Crumplebottom, then de-age her to teen and adult, just to see what she looked like. Then, just for the hell of it I impregnated her with Grimmy's baby. Her pregnancy was pushed forward and she gave birth later that day. In the meantime other siims couldn't interact with her other than the usual downtown commands. She gave birth successfully, but her movements were all a bit too glitchy for my liking. I decided enough of the Frankenstein ethics and did not save the game. I think that I took pics, but I'd have to check to see whether the pc saved them, even though I left the lot unsaved. It usually does.
Title: Re: Pregnancy tester? Post by: Darkstormyeve on 2006 January 08, 22:26:44 Well I have been using Shaklin's medicine cabinet and I'm very happy with it. Afer reading this thread I am keen to try the Insim and Inteen.
Well, it turned out that Jennifer Burb was having John Burbs baby (thank goodness!!) as I think that Lucy grew up to be an attractive YA so I'm keen for them to have more kids. Lovin Lizzlove's bed though. Probably my fav mod at the moment. My sims are getting into all sorts of trouble without me having to invent it. Poor Brandi. She has 3 bolts with my CAS sim and after getting her three boys off to uni so invite Daniel over (CAS sim) and they hit it off. Next thing she is preggars with his son. Daniel is married by the way and has one child already. So, I made sure that he was around for the birth and after things had settled down, they were back on Lizzlove's bed! Bang! Twins! I'm exhausted just playing the Broke household now! Daniel has one bolt for his wife and three for Brandi. Should he leave her and support Brandi???? Also, has anyone had bolts decrease for no apparent reason? Especially when their turn-ons are makeup and brown hair and dislike stink and there partner doesn't change there brown hair, makeup and showers regularly? |
