Title: How Do I Make Better Quality Snapshots?
Post by: geekily on 2006 January 03, 17:51:36
Hi there,
I know this seems like a dumb question, but I've got my game set to the highest graphic qualities and it still takes rather small, very bad quality screen shots. I've seen some much bigger, nicer ones here - how do you do that? Thank you so much!

Here are some tutorials that might help.

I use the PrtScn button and the following program: YAFScreen.

You can download it here: http://www.marian-aldenhoevel.de/YAFSScreen/

It's a free program that saves images into a folder of your choice in a format of your choice.
I don't know how I ever managed without it.

You can also go in the camera option where you can set the quality and size of the pictures you takes.

Yes, make sure you've set the snapshot quality to high - that is what ends up controlling the quality of the screenshots, not the settings for the game graphics. My game is set to all medium graphics settings but the snapshots are set to high, and as a result look better than what I see when I'm playing! They'll still end up on the smallish side no matter what, though, so a print screen utility is the way to go for large shots.
