Yes, I've seen it.  Knowledge sims tend to spin every want in the catalogue at least once - in order to add to their knowledge!

It just seemed strange as it is the first time any of my knowledge sims have spun that want.

I've seen it, but only on dates or right after dates.

I've seen it on sims of all aspirations after a failed attempt of asking for a date, and I think I may have seen it after failed flirting.

I always get it when a flirt is rejected(if they are moderately attracted) but usually with family or romance sims.  I had a weird thing happen at the Tri-Var house.  Heather went on her first date(was with Daniel Pleasant that is in Uni)and she wanted to woohoo in bed and invite him home--so she did and eveyone else was studying downstairs.  Well, after the date,I checked everyones wants and three of the four knowledge sims downstairs rolled the want to woohoo in bed.  I thought that was so funny.  I don't blame them Daniel is pretty hot in Uni.

I just placed a new Pescado in a new neighbourhood and as soon as I fulfilled one of his wants (to earn a skill), he rolled a few strange wants (at least for him, a Knowledge Sim).  The strangest one, though, was to woohoo in a bed.  He doesn't even know anyone!

Since Nl they nearly all spin the woohoo in bed want if you buy the first double bed in the house - even if it's for someone else.

But as I said, Knowledge sims spin almost every want at some time, depending on personality, about the only ones they don't are Marry a Rich Sim, Earn 10,000 Simoleons etc.!  A Pisces or Cancer knowledge sim is perhaps more likely to spin family type wants, a Leo maybe will spin more Romance wants, but basically, I think that most wants are available to them.

Blue Soup, does your Pescado have a double bed?

Yeah, he has a double bed, but in all the previous incarnations of this game, I've always bought him a double bed and this is the first time he's ever spun that want.  Even when he was married before, he never spun that want.  I locked the want, I want to see how long it takes for him to sucker woo some poor hapless Sim woman.  :D

Did you give him extra want slots?

I don't know whether there's something else happening to cause the want to appear in this case, seems strange he's the only Pescado to get the want!  Was it the same bed each time, or maybe you gave this one a better bed!

It was a different bed this time, but still a nice expensive custom bed.  He only has 4 want slots, as he's the first generation.  His kid will go to University though.

I thought it was a little odd, but I'm not worried about it.

Intriguing, though!  It may be the bed type that triggered the want, though.  I know that post NL the Some Sleepwell is glitchy - the maid will not make it EVER!  She/he'll make even the cheapest beds, but not that one - which is the third most expensive Maxis-made!  Hell, she even makes Inge's cheapo divans!  But not the Soma!

Yup, failed romantic interactions usually get my sims hoping for some love potion, and knowledge sims are picking up Woo-hoo in bed wants without even having a crush on anyone.

In one of my university houses, I have Alexander Goth living in a gay relationship with Ricky Cormier.  They've been blissfully happy, and even though Ricky has an assortment of other lovers (male and female), he only has eyes for Alex.  I then moved the teen Ivy Copur in to their spare room, and even though she is repelled by both of them, she now constantly spins up the woo-hoo in bed want (she doesn't even have a crush on anybody!).  I think she's jealous of the boys! :D

Maybe he thinks it is a good way to meet someone?  :o

I had one of my girls roll a love potion want.  That was just part of my "Will you get married already!" saga.

I took some hours to find and customize a nice chapel for my sims on a community lot.   Then I used it to marry off one of my girls, and that went fine, apart from the fact that there was always one sim that didn't get in the car.  I just teleported her in.  In that case I had the groom move in first, so that explain why it went smoothly.

The second girl I wanted to marry, I decide to have her meet her groom at the chapel.   There is the caveat, that I want all the sims from my household to be there, so I need to find a time when they are all there. I decided to see if I could combine this with a date.  So I ask my groom for a date.  How many people go on a date and end up married I wonder :) Everything goes smoothly, they have a dream date and I culminate it with the vows at the end.  Except that right after the "I do", my sims start running everywhere. I look for the groom and he's stuck at the altar, literally.  He can't move.  At which time I realize that my sims aren't running, the game actually switched to high speed (even though it still says speed 1).  All my sims needs are getting critical and I'm running the risk of them dropping dead soon as they get home.  I decide to bail out.  I couldn't even go to the neighbourhood, that option was grayed out. I had to kill the game outright.

Reload the game.  Decide that maybe there was some weirdness about my community lot.  Load it up and tweak it a little bit.  Try the whole scenario once more. Same result. Bail out and reload my lot.  At which time, I decide to call it a bad job and use the regular Invite sim to community lot.  By this time it's too late to call, so I put it off to first thing in the morning.  Forgot it was too early to call and my groom hangs up on me, pissed that I woke him.  Got too used to Pescado's hack shielding us from our own stupidity.  Unfortunately his hack doesn't cover that particular option.  So no biggie I think.  I try again after 7h00, the groom accepts my invitation.  I have everyone put on their finest and pack them off to the church.  Lead the groom to the altar and lo and behold he runs off!!  Looks like that early morning phone did some serious damage to the relationship.

Bail out, once again and load up my lot.  Invite the groom over, and try to repair the relationship.  My girl is still hot for him, but he is decidedly cooler.  Thus the want for a love potion.  Maybe I should go that route.  I build that relationship back to a crush, but I am waiting for the red heart before proceeding

In the meantime, I have Liz's lovebed installed and all my sims are like freaking horn dogs on that thing.  I might just take them out, because one of these days my boyfriend is going to walk in on me and say so THIS is why you play this game.  They will be no convincing him afterward that I'm not some kind of sim porn freak lol.

Anyway, what had to happen happened and I heard the little tune.  So now my sim is pregnant and still unmarried, and it looks like she will have a difficult one, so dragging her to a community lot is a bad idea. I think I heard it's not even possible.

Poor girl, she is almost an elder and still not married.  And she has a marry 6 children off LTW.  At this rate I doubt she'll even have 6 children.

Can I suggest a bit of cheating here?   First, get Gnomon's flamingos from Simlogical, just put the tiny cheat (flamingo of contentment) onto your lot, and the flamingo of happiness onto your community lot.  Next, use the flamingo of excellence for long enough to get the poor girl into platinum so she can have some elixir!

Now, why not just have them get married at home with the arch?  (If she's pregnant, he'll go on his honeymoon alone, but what the heck!

Well, I occasionally have a knowledge sim who's a Leo - now they really NEED the woohoos!
