I had the attached three errors trying to influence someone to flirt with Twain in my game.  Each time an reset worked, but I was unable to "influence....flirt with...." and I tried it on two different sims.

Any ideas?

Bump.  Only one person has looked at the logs... did it tell you anything?

I had a look and the only odd thing I can see is the mention at the beginning of the public phone booth!  But I'm not an expert, just haven't seen that before.

On the surface, this would appear to be a bug or a badly written/old version hack. It looks like the influence to flirt code is passing garbage data into the globals. I'll need to do some more checking to see if it's Maxis code that's the problem.

Do you have any hacks that affect influencing?

Edit: It's definately a hack. There is code being called that is not from Maxis. Which one, I have no idea. None of mine deal with influence at all.

Edit 2: On a hunch, I checked the test version of the romance mod and that's the cause of the error. I'll let Pescado know about the problem.

The problem has been noted for examination.

I was wondering after I saw the reference to the relationship check.  Since I don't write code at all, I knew I needed someone else to look at it, but it did start after installing the Director's Cut.

Just to say I have the same problem. It affects Influence to Kiss... Whoever as well as to flirt. </whine>  ;)

Should be fixed in currently available version.

Is that 1.3b? That's the version I'm using, and the version available from the Uni downloads folder.

... Or is the fixed one NL-only?

Ah, you're running an old Uni-install. I'll see about back-porting the fix to Uni. Do not use the old Uni version if you have NL, though.

Hmm. It appears I already did that. So you just need to get the new version. It should be part of the Uni Director's Cut as well as in a standalone package....
