I'm FINALLY doing a story of my own. But its on LiveJournal instead of the Exchange. Because the Exchange is evil, and limiting.

Pleasantview Heights (http://www.livejournal.com/users/trepie_pvh/) will be and ongoing story of all of the characters lives in Pleasantview and all of the crap I can throw at them.

Chapter 1 is up for your viewing pleasure. (or displeasure)

P.S. Like you I'm put off by the Exchange & its limitations, so I started just posting my favorite sim pics to a blog hosted on my website. Maybe your story can inspire me to actually weave a plot through my entries!

I agree that it's a great story and I'm looking forward to reading more. I've always liked Cassandra too and gave her the happy life I thought she deserved.

I've never had much luck with the dratted Exchange either. I can upload a sim but have had absolutely no luck with stories or lots. Trepie I'm glad you found an alternative for the Exchange, I'm going to have a great deal of fun reading all your chapters.

Yes, that's the Cassandra I remember. Such a pity she died in my game before NL came out, she'd no doubt have been one of my prize fighters otherwise.

Incidentally, if you put Don in front of a mirror, change the beard for a bit of stubble and give him the floppy hairdo ... oh no, I've been reminded of it again. He's holding my Pleasantview up - hours from dying (for the second time) and I left his lot, I just had to. His daughter-in-law has just been vamped so I think maybe I will get her to bite him. I just can't let him go yet. Trouble is, I feel the same about all his sons as well. And his grandsons. It's most worrying, I tell you.

After my current Legacy, reggikko stories will also not be put onto the Exchange. I'm a little tired of OMG!!11!!! You're stories are so awesome!!!!!11111!!!! PLZ read mine and sign my gb.

Trepie, do you like LiveJournal? I should fool around with that and see how it is. Are there picture limits?

There's no picture limits when putting them in the actual post like I did. Just upload them to another server and use the gool old fashioned "center" and "img src" tags.

There is a limit to 6 user pics though for free accounts.

Well, Don's floppy hairdo is the Maxis one in the game, the one that covers one eye. It look totally sexy-deluxe on most Sims (even ugly ones sometimes), but on teen Don it is just TOO MUCH, I tell you.

Oh, almost forgot, here's a link to my rather silly story about Cassandra on the official site (sorry, but that's where it is). It's about the day she died and her daughter's subsequent attempts to find a man. Would you believe she's finally found one (halfway into elder) and guess who it is? Yes, her 3-bolter is none other than JM Pescado himself.
