Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: kissing_toast on 2016 March 16, 11:14:50 Okay, good. Would you mind explaining how? I think the warning speaks for itself here. Hi Jezzer! :D Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: Sita on 2016 March 16, 11:38:05 Incombatability?
Really? Nobody noticed? AM is incombatible? I think it's very combatible. Not as much so as Fight Club though. Where are the grammar Nazis when you need them? Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2016 March 16, 12:18:35 Is there a way to stop the mod from warning me about a noncritical core mismatch? This message indicates that your SimIFace file does not match what is expected of the version of AwesomeMod installed. Either you have installed a mod that modifies this file (nonfatal, ignore the message), or you are attempting to install it into a game version that is unsupported (usually wrong patch level). This can either be a serious problem that can explode your neighborhood or game, or something you can ignore, if you know why it happened.Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: Sardonic on 2016 March 16, 14:09:43 Is there a way to stop the mod from warning me about a noncritical core mismatch? I've tested it and the mod works, but the prompt is annoying. Is there a way to stop the mod from telling me that it's incompatible with my game? Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: Renvalka on 2016 March 16, 15:51:58 In the few times I tested AM with 1.69 I noticed that needs were static and skill gain impossible.
Perhaps you're luckier than I am, but these things aren't usually there to piss you off. Perhaps you're luckier than I am, but these things aren't usually there to piss you off. I use NRaas mods alongside awesome, so that may have something to do with the lack of bugs in my game. I have the NRaas mods in a higher priority folder than awesome, so anything that it does is probably negated if any of the NRaas mods that I have installed do the same. Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: Sita on 2016 March 16, 22:17:27 I got static needs until I updated the NRAAS AND the AM.
Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: Sardonic on 2016 March 16, 23:33:56 I got static needs until I updated the NRAAS AND the AM. Are your NRaas mods in a folder of higher priority than the folder that contains awesome mod? Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: Sita on 2016 March 17, 17:29:03 They are in the same folder, Sardonic. Does that matter?
Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incompatibility Message Post by: Sardonic on 2016 March 18, 00:14:00 They are in the same folder, Sardonic. Does that matter? Possibly. I've never put them in the same folder before, but putting certain mods in folders of higher priority should cause the game to use those mods over any mods in folders of lower priority, should there be any conflicts. It's also possible that I wasn't paying enough attention to my sims' needs when I tested the mod. Maybe the FOJ or someone else can confirm if you're right. Having incompatible mods causing conflicts just seems to cause the game to explode (at least mine would) rather than the game ignoring the conflicting mods because of the folder they are in. Well, you could manually edit the file with the appropriate data, but then you'd have to understand how to get that data. As I have never seen a 1.69 patch anywhere, and nobody has volunteered to send the files I asked for, I have no means of acquiring this data. You are on your own.Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: Sardonic on 2016 March 18, 17:43:46 Well, you could manually edit the file with the appropriate data, but then you'd have to understand how to get that data. I can send you the files, but I must warn you that I have absolutely no idea what I'm even supposed to be sending you. I'm not what some would call, "computer savvy." You are on your own. BTW, if you ever do get those files and update Awesome for 1.69, I respectfully request that you retain 1.67 compatibility if at all possible. I know that's never been AM policy, but I'd rather Title: Re: Awesome Mod Incombatibility Message Post by: AnarchyBlues on 2017 February 21, 10:26:40 In the few times I tested AM with 1.69 I noticed that needs were static and skill gain impossible.
