More Awesome Than You!

Seems user "clown" over at MTS has created a enable advanced debug interactions mod. Might just be me, but I have a feeling that particular mod will lay the foundation for the Sims 4 version of Sims 2 Insim mod, & the Sims 3 NRASS/AwesomeMod.

Anyone else agree or disagree?

With Story Progression being tossed out this time around for the rest of the sims except the very household you're playing, whatever super mod comes along,will be vastly different.

Nraas has already stated twice that they will not be modding for TS4.

Mentioning a popular object by name as an example does not equate to requesting that object be remade by the original creator. Can someone with a better technical understanding than myself of this verify if this is the start of a core mod? I'm getting tired of TS2.

Pescado has already stated that there probably won't be core mods for TS4.

Well there's at least a men/elders etc. can get pregnant mod now for sims 4.

Pescado isn't making sims 4 mods?! FUCK! I shouldn't have even bought this piece of shit then. These games don't even become bearable until he fixes the ten billion annoying things the sims want to do.

At this point in time I don't think Pes has made a firm and solid decision one way or the other.  From what I have read, I don't know if Pes could even fix this game given the mess EAxis made of it, possibly a few of the glitches and irritations could be ironed out, but not sure about the rest.

Unless there's a really good no-Origin crack out there, I wouldn't hold my breath, because there's no way in hell Pescado's installing Origin.

Honestly if things could get smoothed out, I honestly think this is a great start. I've always been the one to dislike what everyone seems to dislike, so it's no surprise. The game has a lot of potential and with the right mods it could be great. To expect EAxis to ever do anything right you'd sooner see hell freeze over. I've seen the game at least reset sim on it's own when they manage to derp out and teleport out of what current action they had, that's better than them being stiff stuck until you do it yourself. I would hope that Pes makes a mod for it since time and time again I used his mod so I could bare playing Sims 3 with all expansions. Mostly my pc's fault and then EAxis poor coding.

I haven't said that. What I *SAID* was that we weren't going to be seeing a single super-mod, but more like the TS2 system of tiny piecemeal mods eventually bundled into a single Director's Cut.

However, I'm not in quite a hurry to go and get the game this time, what with it still being tainted by shitty Origin and all.

Any update?

I've seen people on other forums saying "Pescado isn't modding for Sims 4!" so I guess that misconception is spreading, in spite of the clarification.


I thought the Arrr'ed version strips it out or disables it or something?

I believe there is still an issue with patching the Arr'ed version without Origin, as I haven't seen anyone releasing or linking to a standalone patch.

The "RELOADED" version that's out now includes the ghosts patch, which indicates that we can get our hands on the patches without Origin somehow, no?

Not really, all that says is that they were probably able to incorporate the patch through Origin and then remove Origin.

It will be impossible for anyone to patch any arr'ed version for the simple reason that patches (as well as the rest of their products) are located on the cloud of EAxis and that to have an access to this cloud requires to have the game registered on Origin (Origin is just the interface between the cloud and our computers).
Well, now I have confidence in RLD to give us the future patched versions of the game when they will be released.

The only potential drawback to that is having to do a complete reinstall every time a patch comes out.

Reloaded has the pool patch up already. It's just like a regular patch only not EAxian.

I use the Reloaded release with patches successfully without ever installing Origin. And I don't have to reinstall the game either, just apply patch and cracked exe and I'm good to go. Anything else is lies and propaganda.

We could take up a collection and give TS4 at JM so to put him in a bit of a hurry?  ;D
