This is a house which is influenced by the rich colours of Spain. I used this site (http://colorschemedesigner.com/) to create the scheme. If you are the sort of person who likes beige with a splash of accent colour, I advise you to leave now. It is like reading a childrens story where the imps are constantly showing up in odd places; you are surprised by the detail wherever you look. I could never play with colours and make it look as good as this! The entryway is pretty, the little tv- and desknook is well put together and the colouring is unified throughout the house. Great work, witch!

I look for something that inspires an idea on the internet, then I search on floor plans, colour scheme and decor. Then comes the shell, getting proportions and light right, with a runway for the sims so they don't get stuck routing so much. Finally I decorate more-or-less room by room. Light adjustments and gardens come last.
