Title: Origin help? Post by: Skye on 2013 April 18, 13:02:04 Installed latest origin, and made account, yet afterwards I get "An unknown error has occurred, please close origin and try again." .. While, no matter how many times I try, it does not work. I've restarted and everything.

I'm asking cos I got a couple o goodies from here and it tells me I have to install the latest whatevers so I can install-like the farm set and the aurora ones....do I need the darn origin to do those? and what's up with that. By goodies, do you mean CC, or store content? If you mean the latter, there are a few third party tools for extracting store content outside of the launcher, at least one of which is available at MTS. A Google search for a package installer should set you straight. I use the multi-pack extractor personally. Seriously, unless you have to have it installed for a game that requires it (and as far as I know, The Sims doesn't require it) you should uninstall Orign. Title: Re: Origin help? I have no idea if this is actually true, because:
