I don't know why, but when I placed this on a lot, the plasma fruit plants were gone.

Not a big deal; I don't need them, and the place is great otherwise.  But it did make me curious how you placed the plants.  Is there a command to spawn them, or did you use a sim with high gardening skill?

I used a sim with a high gardening skill, but it looks like when you share a lot with plants not planted via debug tool the game removes the plants.

I guess if you want plasma fruit gardens you'll have to send a sim with gardening level 7 to the grocery store and buy a bunch of plasma fruit to plant here. :(

I've been doing some searching on this question.  I don't think it matters how the plants were planted, whether by sim or buydebug.  The plant should be the same either way.  I think it's because the plasma fruit plant isn't available in buydebug, so it's treated as not existing in the game when placing the lot.

Over at Mod The Sims, Sims MX created a mod to add the missing plants. >linky< (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=450575)  He points out that the added plants get treated like CC, and don't appear on shared lots unless the game the lot is being placed in has this mod installed.

Just an oddball bit of borkination, I'd say.

The plasma fruit plant is available in buy debug and carrot plants (which are not) manage to translate with a lot - so you need a new theory.

I couldn't find the plasma fruit in buydebug, but maybe I didn't look closely enough. I'll fire up my game and try again.

Nope. Still not there. My buydebug goes from Plant Watermelon to Porcini Mushrooms.

I stand corrected - which mod allows it? Because I definately don't have one that specifically says - add plasma fruit to possible plantings.

I also have a mod somewhere that gives me all the plants, including the ones from the Store Content as buy debug plantables.
