More Awesome Than You!

After someone posted a picture on my Facebook of a hotel with balcony swimming pools, I got the urge to put together a modern house with a rooftop pool.  This turned into The Fishbowl.  It's on a 40x40 lot, and costs 176,000 simoleons unwanded.  It contains objects from several EPs and SPs -- including Seasons -- and several ARRed Store Sets:  Luxury Spa Bedroom, Ultra Lounge Full Set (Living Room and Bathroom), BauHaus Building Set, Zen Again Bathroom, Bayside Bathroom, Atomic Age Stuff, Ultra Lounge Teen Bedroom, Loads of Laundry, and Future Shock Kitchen.  Any objects you don't have in your game will be replaced by basegame equivalents.

Yiss, this lot will go nicely with my townhouse in the posh part of town. I love the glass tunnel to the garage with the ornamental pool beside it. Also the staircase at the side.

Imagine lying in bed and watching people swim.

I will add two in my neighborhood, one as a house. The second I'll convert into commercial lot, turn the master bedroom into a bar overlooking the pool, the second floor into games and blackjack room, the first floor kitchen into a Japanese Restaurant, with a showtime stage. If it's ok with Jezzer.  


Edit: Jezzer, you might want to include that there's a custom content called "Einfach Simlisch - Fence 'Pediment'" in the lot.

Meh, I forgot about that.  I just used it to border the rooftops, and can't remember where I got it.  Any type of small lined path bordering shaded black will keep the original look, or you can switch to the Bauhaus fencing.

This is beautiful.  I love modern houses, it even looks beautiful outside as well as in.  Great work!

That patio umbrella is calling to me.

The patio umbrella came with the new Greenhouse set, and it is an unARRed store item, so you'll need to manually place the ARRed version.

I still think it would make a fantabulous gym. I did suggest an upmarket daycare centre for the large empty room, but Jezzer pointed out that you wouldn't be wanting to lug kids up and down the stairs. :D

Am I going to be sporked if I as for a separate "area" (thread/forum/board/whathaveyou) for the lots. Witch alone has made quite a few. I mean something like the "puddings" section where we can find all the awesome MATY user made lots.

Yeah, problem is, someone would have to go back through and find and move all the lots. Fuck that. I honestly doubt Pescado would agree. Just for the record, I would like to see a sub-forum for lots.

I feel like volunteering but I keep hearing a doomsday chime every time I think about it. Besides I'm not sure how reliable I'll be since I'm not very consistent when it comes to my hobbies.

If Pescado will set up a sub-forum for lots and/or hoods, I'll volunteer to move the existing threads.

I love what you did with the staircase. Might have to plop this baby into Lunar Lakes...

Ooh, I was just looking for a new house to add to the sort of empty area of my hood, since I'm going to be fixing it for Seasons soon. This will work nicely.

And, for the record, I would love to see a new sub-forum for lots.
