More Awesome Than You!

I was trying to give a particular sim  highlights for her formal outfit hair and berating the fact that I couldn't get the colour to stick to one outfit no matter how I toggled the lock hair button. First I tested to see if it was an Awesome mod problem - no. Then I thought it might have introduced itself with Showtime. I was all ready to set forth and whine in Lights, Camera, Inaction, Showtime when I thought to wonder if ever I could do it.

So: Can anyone remember ever being able to set hair colour by outfit?

We've never been able to set hair color per outfit, just hair style.

I wish we could do this though. I was thinking about it recently because my genie for some weird reason has a different hair color when she changes into her work outfit. For all her other outfits her hair stays the same color though. So it might be possible to set hair color per outfit with a mod if anyone is interested in making such a mod.

This is just a shot in the dark, but is there no padlock icon on the hair color?

No, there isn't. The hair is an unlockable hair though. I already changed my sim's appearance but I noticed that when I selected it manually the hair color did change to my sim's original hair color so it was probably just a glitch.

This is a function that Twallan implemented into MasterController. After clicking on the usual 'Nraas' and 'MasterController', go into 'Settings' and then 'CAS' and you can set both eye and hair colour according to outfit.

Only I'm not using any of Twallan's mods, but I'm glad to hear there's mod out there that does this already.

Well it's not as such difficult to set an color of the hairs as per the outfit,but most the times is doesn't look good.So I personally prefer only hair styles.
