Note that most hairs look better with dark hair colors - it's very hard, maybe impossible, to get it looking right with very light colors.

Edit 11/1/11: I added three variations each for male and female of less trimmed-looking hair. Took a lot of time because fading the hair out around the edges tends to make it look pixellated in close-up and the hair 'smears' down the inner thighs because of the way the skins are wrapped. Did the best I could! Also I compressed the packages.

As un-MATY as expressing such sentiments are - thankyou - I was wondering how I was going to get my hands on the female version since sexysims seems to have died a death.

Any insider news on its chances of resurrection?

Body Hair does not show up for females in my game.
Am I missing something? Or is female pubic hair in a different category.

I don't use Awesome myself, but I'm told it enables the Body Hair screen for females. Maybe there's an option you have to set - I don't know. If you don't use a core mod now, you can use XCAS at MTS, which enables it. Otherwise, you can wait for Twallan to include it in MasterController.

If you get time, Cmar, there is one level that you missed out.  A completely unwaxed hair pattern actually spreads onto the thigh an inch or so - sparsely.  All yours have had a bikini wax :)

Only 12s (and I guess fetishists and people who never plan on getting laid, ever.) go completely feral. Most people trim at the very least. Not porn star landing strips but maybe something a little more groomed. 12-bush on sims always makes them look like they don't wash. Maybe this should accompany a "Has VDs" trait.

You don't know what you're talking about.  I stopped shaving my legs and armpits at about 30, and have never ever shaped my pubic hair.  I have been married 4 times, each time to a man who had already inspected my hair distribution and knew what he would be getting.   I have never had venereal disease either.

Never had sex with someone over 30 so maybe I haven't ventured into the jungles of hair yet. I don't have a problem with reality land hair but I do think it looks rather unwashed and infectious on sims. I'm not a fan of the whole everyone-is-pedobait look, but I also I don't see my sims in the nude all that often so I can wait for some pubes of my liking to pop up.

Irony: make fun of 12s just to come out as a 12 yourself. Heh.

Should this work for pre-made sims if we use "editsim" and add it to both genders?  It does not appear in my game after I have "added" it to the pre-made sims from the game.

Haven't tried it - possibly it's not saving the changes. I've been using the Mirror/Change Appearance.

And to jump into the great pubic hair debate - as a teenager I did some bikini shaving, but have left it natural since then. I've had a reasonably active sex life with no complaints from boyfriends about my pubes.

You could try taking the base texture of the accessory and making a body hair package with it using Hairinator (available at MTS). Use the base texture for the overlay, and try either the same base texture or the accessory specular if it has one for the specular. No guarantee it'll work but worth a try!

If you are going to edit the hair, could you edit it to include some hair at the baseline of the penis?  For some reason, DCABs' mesh looks just like it's an afterthought rather than a natural part of the body.  I love the mesh and I love the body hair, I'd just like to see them blend together more.  Thanks for sharing your hair.

That's not a bad idea, but I'll have to experiment. The hair would have to be placed at the location of the penis, which is in the shoe texture area - have to make sure hair doesn't show up on some shoes, but it seems unlikely. Hmmm.

Pube shoe hair would definitely beat surelyfunke's beard.

it's a shame to say but most guys I met in my life were into all this shave all your hair ... infect some of them told me they will not date me any more from this reason.

Some medical people think shaving or waxing the pubes actually increases the chances of transmitting disease since the skin may be broken and irritated. Kind of ironic for the Pubetards who think bush = VD.
