Title: Getting Lyla Grunt extracted via SimPE--or not Post by: MrsCrumplebottom on 2011 June 17, 02:25:22 This is driving me nuts.
Any time I extract a dead Sim via SimPE I can "recreate" them in CAS or Body Shop. Lyla Grunt is another story. Every time I try to click on that Sim in Body Shop, BS crashes. I wondered if the fact that she had a tombstone in Strangetown had anything to do with it (though you're only extracting the physical traits...right?) so I resurrected her. Didn't make any difference. Note: I didn't care if Strangetown got corrupted, I was deleting it anyway. I was extracting premade Sims to put in my new empty neighborhoods. BTW if it'll help: I have all EPs and SPs (I have all the combo packs), running on Windows 7, using the latest version of SimPE. *sigh* I guess I'll just try to create a Sim that looks as much like Lyla as possible, as in my new Strangetown she's going to still be married to General Buzz. Title: Re: Getting Lyla Grunt extracted via SimPE--or not Post by: Tarlia on 2011 June 17, 05:21:26 Lyla is completely corrupted, including her facial features, which is most likely what makes Body Shop crash.
You could make one of your own, or download the pack of dead sims from here: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Resurrecting_tips#Resurrecting_Sims_with_no_character_data Title: Re: Getting Lyla Grunt extracted via SimPE--or not Post by: MrsCrumplebottom on 2011 June 17, 13:01:22 I went ahead and made one of my own...but I'll go check out that link, thanks! :)
Sometimes I wonder what the heck they were drinking over at EAxis...they should have had people like Pescado, TwoJeffs, etc. working for them! Title: Re: Getting Lyla Grunt extracted via SimPE--or not Post by: MrsCrumplebottom on 2011 June 22, 10:50:08 Awesome! ;D
BTW if you want to know what the original Lyla's personality was (at least you get THAT much info from SimPE), it's 0 6 4 7 8. A lot like Ripp, go figure, and her aspiration was Romance. |
