Title: Service Initialization Failed (0x0175dcbb) Post by: Clifford on 2011 April 15, 12:52:41 SOLVED: Well, actually I solved the error by myself. Although I deleted all the Sims-stuff in the Registry, I missed the "Sims" Registryfolder wich is located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/SIMS/The Sims 3. Now I deleted it and it works like a charm
Thx to katana for the help! (http://www.ld-host.de/uploads/images/3c238c87b8ed4db1ffc0a761b74cb8cd.jpg) Well, after I reinstalled Sims3 (Basegame) this error shows up wherever I try to start the game. Starting via Launcer didn't work, it says that an error accured. I reinstalled it but deleted all the Sims files (as said in the other thread) in the registry before. Then I tried to patch the game manually, wich produced the same error. If the game is unpatched, it runs fine. I tried anything but I get always the same error =( (Maybe it is because my game is Arr'd but 6 months ago it worked just fine) What can I do to fix this? Title: Re: Service Initialization Failed (0x0175dcbb) Post by: jezzer on 2011 April 15, 14:14:44 A crack that worked six months ago isn't going to be compatible after patching the game to a new version. Find a game crack that is compatible with your most recent patch.
Title: Re: Service Initialization Failed (0x0175dcbb) Post by: Clifford on 2011 April 15, 16:03:35 Didn't work =(. I replaced all the exes with the right cracks and the message still appears.
Title: Re: Service Initialization Failed (0x0175dcbb) Post by: kissing_toast on 2011 April 15, 16:15:29 That's why you don't use cracks.
Title: Re: Service Initialization Failed (0x0175dcbb) Post by: Clifford on 2011 April 15, 17:05:02 It doesen't start with the original exe either.
