Title: Please help me figure out how the heck bridgeport manages its weather. Post by: Claeric on 2010 November 01, 00:15:26 The world file itself has a few INIs relating to fog, but only fox. I can find nothing that relates to weather as a whole or the sun. There is one file that involves the sun, but it doesn't change it on a weather-by-weather basis, only on an overall level, and it mentions "cycling weather" and lets you change how many hours it takes before the game chooses a new weather type.
I assume each of the fog INIs (there are 5 that give fog information) is supposed to apply to a weather type, but I can't find any weather types anywhere. The expansion doesn't have its own non-packaged ini files like the base game does, either. I'm sick of the weather in bridgeport, it's always cloudy and foggy. I know *how* to make a package file that replaces the weather, I'm the one who wrote a tutorial on it. But the files I need in order to do so just aren't there. Am I looking in the wrong places? I would very much like to see this, yes. If it's a specific cheat it might help me find the files.

Post by: violetlass on 2010 November 01, 22:33:50 Thinking upon it, its an emiitter "box" that make the weather,(like they had in TS2) here is the link to help give you a better idea, I think thats kinda what you are looking for to lead you in the right direction.

"Weather" refers to the sunlight, cloud cover, wind speed, wave intensity, and fog cover at any given time in a neighborhood.
