Title: Hydrobot & Cleanbot not working (solved) Post by: allon_midbar on 2010 September 20, 01:48:41 I searched but found no topic dealing with this particular problem. This is the first time I've tried to start up a robot shop, and consequently also the first time I've actually made any real use of the robot crafting station. My Sim currently has a bronze talent badge in robotics, so she can make hydrobots & cleanbots. The problem I've found is that the only thing I can do with them is choose to sell them from the object menu when they're sitting on the crafting bench. I can only remove them from the crafting bench using the "move_objects" cheat, but if I set them anywhere else, there aren't any actions available. I did try setting them on some OFB shelving, but it wouldn't let me tag them for sale. I don't have any similar problems with the toy robotos. Any ideas?

I don't think you can move them or use them independently of the stand, even though the robot itself seems to be a different object from the stand.

I didn't notice the stand was acting as a separate object. Selecting the stand appears to nullify the problem. Thanks, rufio. |
