Title: SIMS 3 crash Post by: butterfly_sin on 2010 July 18, 23:00:22 I had SIMS3 and awesomemod on my old computer and everything worked beautiful. I bought a new computer, and downloaded SIMS on it and it will not work. I have followed http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?topic=1398.0 step by step to be 100% sure that I am doing everything correctly. However, the launcher wont even open. When I try, the error "There was an error during startup. Please see the LOG for more details" comes up and the game exits.
I do not have WA or any expansion packs, just the plain SIMS 3. First, is Awesomemod even installed when you get the error? Second, have you checked the LOG? Third, if you're following the instructions from another forum, why are you HERE asking for help when you should be OVER THERE?
