Good God, morgy, if you don't have Ambitions, don't fucking use it with an EP it's not for.

Despite the title, the mod does not say that Ambitions is a requisite EP to use the mod.  The mod says is that it works for "any game versions 1.12/2.7/3.3/4.0 and above".

If you have Ambitions, you will need it.  If you do not, my guess is that using it will not hurt anything.

It should work fine for any version or EP/SP combo there is until something adds new effects.  If you don't have all the EP/SP the effects file will just have data for effects the game doesn't use.

To an extent.  Not everyone uses AM.  AM has it disabled by default (invalid point, fuck the sheeple who can't configure it).  AM doesn't disable it when they're on the terlet.  Personally, seeing them sit on the toilet and crap their pants doesn't bother me as much as the giant censor grid.

I agree with this, if the sensor grid was smaller when they used the toilet, might not be so bad.  I keep hoping someone will make a mod like there was for TS2, which makes the sims naked whenever they use the toilet, then puts their clothes back on when they finish, it made it look so much better.

I think a naked sim might be a little more awkward. In terms of suspension of disbelief, no censor blur beats a giant censor blur, which beats a giant censor blur over a sim who...takes off their clothes to pee.

BaXiM's EGC mod has that I think, or does that not redress them after? I never tried that option. I think he's also working on a way to make it so sims only drop their pants when using the toilet, instead of going totally nude.

Of course it's a core mod and doesn't work with awesome, so I guess it's moot.

Oh and thanks for the decensor, this is the mod I usually wait for before installing a new EP/SP. I can play without the other crap for a while, but the big censor mosaics just irritate me too much. 4th wall and all that I guess.

Not usually, but they do usually drop their pants when they sit down.  Given that sim outfits come in either tops/bottoms as separate items or a suit, it would make it harder to just drop their pants if they have a suit on.  Given the complexities that probably follow within the code to determine if they are sitting or standing probably makes it harder again.

I used the mod for TS2 and found naked sims sitting on the toilet better than someone taking a shit through their pants, after all, not everyone sits to just pee.

The benefit of mods, if you don't like one, you don't use it.


You might be naked if you're going to jump in the shower or bath afterward, or if you have just gotten out of the bath/shower and need to use the toilet.


What an argument.  There is so much more that is wrong with this game in terms of suspension of disbelief.  Your wanting to have an incestuous relationship with your son is so far out there it isn't funny.  Then there is the relationships with cars that has been introduced, not to mention everything that is wrong with the firefighter career, to name a couple.  Suspension of disbelief is more relevant to the enjoyment of movies than a computer game.
