Title: CAS problem..
Post by: Shelbo on 2010 April 21, 08:11:51
Okay so before anyone gets angry and tells me to search like they always do...I'm telling you I searched, and I couldn't find my problem.

So I type in editsim, and everything works fine....I'm able to edit my sim the way I want to..
However..the body I changed pops right back to where it was originally before I edited it.

I haven't used it for any other reason but this, so for example...my male sim is a little on the buff side, and I kinda wanted to tone it down a bit..so I went into CAS with him and turned down the 'fitness' slider to where I liked it..

When I accepted the changes, they stayed on my sims for about 1 second, and then his body got all buff again.

So is this a bug? Can body's not be changed with the editsim function? Is there an alternative?

Thanks for the help :)

Why you don't want to use the Body Sculptor?

Because it's too drastic...even on the low setting...lol I just want some subtle changes.

Is there any reason why awesomemod won't keep the slider in place? From a little experimenting, so far it seems like only the weight and muscle slider go back to it's original state after moving it.
Everything else seems to accept the changes without popping back to normal.

Anyone know of a fix?

Do not use editsim/CAS to change a sim's shape, use setfitness/setfatness instead.

oh alright...I type that into the box?

What are the parameters for it?

zero being normal I'm assuming?

Fatness is -1 to 1, fitness is 0 to 1.

Lurking helps. Necromancy bad, I know.
A question, is there anyway to know the fatness/fitness level of your sim so you can alter it accordingly?

I think there's a command in AM that gives you the info about a sim. Idk, I don't remember it.

Fatness is -1 to 1, fitness is 0 to 1.
Is there a way to increase that range or is it hardcoded? It's fun seeing the extreme values.

I think the values are -1 and 1 no matter what, but if you have a multiplier, 1 will be "more" than 1 is by default. There's a link to a couple multipliers in the WCIF thread in the pudding factory.
