Title: TS3 Base Game Issues No CC/Mods Post by: imnottrent on 2010 March 26, 20:23:29 Hello.
I have the the base game(TS3), the exp(WA), and stuff pack(HELS). I have two computers for my partner and myself, same specs. On one computer I got everything installed up and running just fine and was then able to add mods, and hacks. On my partners computer, I can not even get the base game past the loading screen. The game installed just fine, booted up, and the loading screen came as it should. The bar filled, then stopped and the game hung. I then deleted and reinstalled two more times with the same results. I then ran defrag, and basic system checks, closed all unnecessary background applications, all the usual basic troubleshooting. I still have this issue. The base game, with no mods, and no custom content will not pass the loading screen. What truly boggles my mind is that the machines are exactly the same spec wise. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions to fix this issue, seeing as, of course, EA has been zero help. Thank you. Creepy icon by the way, very nice. I don't know what I did right finally, but after reinstalling all three for the fourth time, it clicked and now works. I love EA, I do, truly. |
