Title: Strange Codes
Post by: Pureness on 2010 March 18, 09:08:40
strange codes are appearing like the ones below:
problem.jpg - 0.13MB (http://www.zshare.net/image/7385549938d65132/)
problem2.jpg - 0.12MB (http://www.zshare.net/image/73855575b8c8d8e0/)
problem3.jpg - 0.07MB (http://www.zshare.net/image/7385571699a65f66/)

anyone knows how to fix that?!

There is not enough information here to help you.  Those are names of jpg's (graphics) and their sizes.  I don't understand what you need to know about them.

More importantly, the graphic you are using in your signature is too large.  I believe you were asked to remove it.  When you didn't, it was removed for you.  You are not going to get much help here if you can't follow the few simple rules.  Might I suggest you remove your signature and add a smaller one before the administrator chooses to banish you.

And why exactly should we be bothered to download your files, since I'm assuming that's what you want? Learn to capitalize properly, use something like Photobucket so we can see the damned things, and get rid of the signature.

Start by not posting images on sites that make you wait for so fucking long to see them.

It looks like you have been fucking around with debug shit, that you should be leaving alone.  But I could be wrong, you could have simply fucked up your whole game.

When I had weird numbers and things similar to that it turned out to be a hack conflict. Try testing in Delphy's Dashboard.

Sorry Goddess, I didn't know it would be so annoying although I have made it smaller. Anyway, I will remove it now. And about my problem, I hope this picture would explain it better:

borsco, thanks for the advice. I will check that out =)

P.S for grammar police: I apologize (again) for my weak English =)

Check your mod folder for something that says it makes the bulletin board in game functional. Remove it. Problem solved.

Your problem sounds similar to this problem…

Properly re-installing Riverview seemed to be a solution.
And another…

It's this mod.

The strings get confused for some users (myself included). Find the file and remove it. Ignore the 'Goddess' as she doesn't know what she is talking about.

You're probably right.  I don't tend to use any other mods.

I chucked this one a long time ago. It seemed useful, until I saw that it gave the results seen in the picture... and.. well, it's easier to either remember things, or write them down on actual paper if I'm in a fullscreen game with no access to Notepad.

There's still the sim description field in-game. I use that one for the few sim-specific notes I need to make (usually about what sim I'm trying to hook them up with). Same basic function sans hack.
