Title: Problem Removing AwesomeMod - Crashes After First Loading Screen Post by: Neo Tanner on 2010 February 21, 18:41:26 Hello there. I've wanted to uninstall AwesomeMod due to the fact I don't really need it anymore as there are tuning mods for what I wanted to do in the game (such as Auto-TestingCheatsEnabled On) and it's slowing down my game a bit. However, when I deleted both the awesome.package and awesomeconfig.package files, my game loaded the first load screen (ie the one that says The Sims 3 above a green loading bar) and then it just crashes right after the green bar is full.
How do I solve this problem? I did check the Error Reports I found where my Saved Game is and it says it's missing a DLL file, which I've read is pretty much useless anyway. If it's completely necessary, I only have The Sims 3 Base Game V1.10.6 (Well, the update said this).
