Title: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 18th September 2014 (1.67)

These are my own personal mods that I use to tune the game to my liking. Many of these tweaks will make the game harder by increasing expenditure and decreasing income. The mods are modular and will not conflict with each other.

All these have been updated for 1.67, and while you may find similar mods elsewhere, these versions are my own personal settings and entirely updated for the current version of the game with all EP/SP installed. I do not support any other versions than the version I play.

It is likely my descriptions do not list every tweaked value, as it can be difficult to recall each setting. If you don't like the settings, you can easily change them yourself or remove them without risk to your save-games. I do not do custom requests of these tweaks, as the majority are easily tunable to your own liking using S3PE. Use at your own risk.

Anach_5x_Vacation_Price - Increases the costs of going on Vacation.
Anach_AdoptionPrice - Increases the price of adopting a child to 10000.
Anach_AgingTweaks - Removes CAS age stagger and doubles the occult agespan.
Anach_All_Buyable - Adds missing skill books, allows buying most WA items as well as some hidden base game items, and adds the ability to use WA registers in non-vacation worlds.
Anach_AmbrosiaGroupServe - Allows for a group serving of Ambrosia (needed for the food replicator.)
Anach_Babysitter_Tweaks - Slight price increase and other minor tweaks.
Anach_BeAskedToMoveIn - Be asked by autonomously by teens and others more frequently.
Anach_BoardingSchoolCost - 10x cost for Boarding Schools.
Anach_BoastAboutGrandchildren - Adults can boast.
Anach_BouncerBribe_x10 - Increases the bribe required for club bouncers.
Anach_BurglarTweaks - Removes Sims psychic burglar detection.
Anach_Butler_Tweaks - Cost of hiring a butler is increased to 6600, as well as some food preparation tweaks.
Anach_CameraHeightMin - Game camera minimum height is lowered close to the floor.
Anach_CASDetails8x2 - Allows for using more Moles, Freckles and Age details in CAS.
Anach_CelebrityDifficulty - Increases the points required to become a Celeb, and halves the chances of getting caught.
Anach_CelebSuePaparazzi - Wins, loses and bribes for the Paparazzi are considerably increased (based on level).
Anach_ChildrenTrainSimFix - Prevents children from being able to train adults on gym equipment (missing animations).
Anach_ClubClosingTimes_12hr - Max of 12 hour openings for people replacing service sims with town sims.
Anach_ClubClosingTimes - All clubs close at 5a.m.
Anach_ConsignmentFees - Small tweak to the profit margins of the Consignment stores, based on the hidden Consignment Skill.
Anach_DiapiersToNappies - Changes the word Diaper to Nappy where applicable.
Anach_DonationAmount - Increases the medium and large amounts for charity donations as well as the buff received.
Anach_FallToAutumn - Changes season Fall season name to Autumn where applicable.
Anach_Fires - Increases the expansion and difficulty of fire.
Anach_FishTankCapacity - Doubles the fish allowed in the fish tank.
Anach_GenieTweak - Changes "More Wishes" chance to 10% from 5% and removes pregnancy restrictions.
Anach_HigherBillsRegular - Bills are 4x, but only delivered once per week instead of twice. Also changes bookclub day to Friday.
Anach_IceCreamTruck - Less visit chance for ice cream truck.
Anach_InteractionQueueLimit16 - Maximum queued interactions is doubled to 16.
Anach_InteractionTweaks - Various personal interaction tweaks. Autonomous "Ask to move in" interaction, sets "Ask sign" and "As if Single" to friendly,  Ask/Offer to turn for vampires, teen bands and other social interactions available for teens.
Anach_LessGnomes - Less pet and freezer bunny gnomes.
Anach_LongerEating - Meals take longer to eat and Sims will sit around chatting longer after finishing meals.
Anach_MaidTweaks - Maid now costs 250 per day. Two maids will come if 10 items or more need cleaning. Increases likelihood of same Maid returning.
Anach_MedicalPanicChildFix - Excludes children from the medical panic situation (Missing animations.)
Anach_Mixologist_Tweaks - Mixologists cost 500.
Anach_MoodDifficultyx2 - Doubles the happiness required to fill the mood meter.
Anach_Newspaper_Tweaks - Adds 5 Simoleon price to delivery, and changes delivery location to mailbox instead of front door.
Anach_No_Sting - Removes woohoo, try for baby & relationship chimes.
Anach_NoAnnoyingMusic - Removes majority of Build/Buy/CAS music. Also removes Firefighter and Ghost Hunter career music.
Anach_NoAutoPetFollow - Pets no longer follow Sims everywhere.
Anach_NoAutoPetsInvestigateStrangeSims - Pets no longer disturb your occult sims.
Anach_NoAutoPetWakeUp - Pets wont wake Sim autonomously.
Anach_NoFreeIngredients - No free ingredients for new homes or switching households.
Anach_NoIntro - Removes the game start Intro movie.
Anach_NoSpongeBathRestrict - Anyone can sponge-bath at anytime.
Anach_Party_Tweaks - Increases maximum party guests allowed to 25. Also tweaks food and bring friend changes.
Anach_PotionPrices - Doubles potion prices.
Anach_PregnancyTweaks - Pregnancy lasts 9 Sim days on epic (Untested durations with new aging sliders)
Anach_PurchaseScraps - Purchase 10x the amount of scrap.
Anach_ReactionRemover - Removes the scared reactions for when a Sim sees a Ghost, Mummy, Simbot.
Anach_RealEstateIncome - Increases the cost of Real Estate by 10x, and decreases the income by 50%.
Anach_Repairman_Tweaks - Repairman costs 500.
Anach_RestoreGhostCost - Restore Ghost costs 150000. How much are you willing to pay to bring back a loved one?
Anach_RichValue - Sims are classed as "Rich" when their lot value is over 500000.
Anach_SitOnBathToilet - Allows user-directed sitting on toilets and bath tubs and fixes missing "Sit" translation for Uber-Toilet.
Anach_SlowVehicles - Vehicles capped to more pedestrian friendly speeds.
Anach_StartingFunds - Doubles starting funds.
Anach_VampTweaks - Various vampire tweaks. Enables autonomous NPC Vampires, increases Sun damage, increases friendship gained with "make sim think about me" power, increases cost of cure to 60k and other minor tweaks.
Anach_WashHandsChance - Normal Sims have 75% change of washing hands. Slobs 0%, Neat 100%.

Enables the bikini n swimwear for elders.

This is an altereration of Sunset Valley to include room for the various EP/SP/Store lots.

As I like Sunset Valley, and have an established family line within this town, I wanted to continue playing this town, but was finding it increasingly difficult to place the lots that keep coming with each expanion. I looked at some other custom worlds, but none of them were exactly what I was looking for.

My main goal was to make minimal changes to the terrain and leave all the original lots in place, while adding enough lots to include the new lot types from the various expanions and DLC. The size and location of the lots is to suit my own game and may not be to everyone's taste.

I have used NO store or custom content and all new lots are vacant. All standard lots and town families are untouched.

BTW, before anyone asks where the tweak file is, been having trouble with my router today, so intended to upload a fixed version of the annoying sound removal mod, but have only just been able to do so now.

I know thank you posts are totally lame but I am so happy that someone finally got rid of that annoying build/buy music, it was driving me sane! Great job and I plan on using quite a few of the other tweaks as well :)

Not quite epic.  Sort of mid-range aging.  My sims (if they survive) tend to live about 175-200 days.  I just like more instant gratification - 9 day pregnancies are too much like waiting in line at the supermarket.  Not meant to be a criticism of the mod itself, just a comment.

Seems like the standard setting is more for you. Hopefully one of the other modders will update their pregnancy mods and give you some more options, I only included one option, simply because they are my personal mods and I only use one option. In this case its all about me :)

My mods are released as is, the only tweaks I'll be doing to them are bug fixes or if I want to change something to suit my tastes. Cleaned and updated the AF elder pregnancy clothing to include the nude model so there are no more floating heads in the shower either.

Hopefully someone will do some proper elder pregnancy clothing and body at some point so we don't need to use the AF mesh.

Some of the mods should work as long as you have the latest patch. Of course the WorldAdventureBuyable you will need WA. Certain other mods like Teen woohoo and mods marked WA have some code relating to WA, which may cause issues with non-WA. The limo, elder clothes, life time reward debug items and bikini will work regardless of version. For some of the minor tweaks, you maybe able to find non-WA versions elsewhere, or even open up S3PE and the The Sims 3\Game\Bin\Gameplay\gameplaydata.package, find the files I've edited using their instance ID and make your own versions.

Teen woohoo has been updated for the latest patch with Ambitions/World Adventures installed. There are numerous other versions of this type of mod floating around the internet (MTS, CRAZY TOWN), which may include non-WA versions. I purely focus on my own installed version, which includes all the expansions and include my own personally preferred settings. I'll not be including any other versions or supporting older patches.

I cannot accurately state whether all these mods will work without the expansions installed, but feel free to try. However, usually the mods will include EP specific code which may require the EPs (Such as the buyable books mod).

They are already updated. I forgot to come back and change the version numbers. I thought I had, but obviously I only thought about doing it :P

Most of them are usually safe. The main one to usually cause issues with patches is the teen woohoo mod. I've just downloaded the patches and installing now. It will take me a while to go through the files to check, but I'll post as soon as I find if any updates are needed.

*edit* I can't see anything that needs updating at the moment. Everything should work fine.

I've only just got around to reinstalling the game and updating. LN doesn't arrive until next week, and I haven't tested these mods, but I have updated them. They should be good to go, but let me know of any issues.

No issues here. This mod doesnt alter plantables in any way, it simply makes them available to buy. Are you trying to plan them indoors?

I really enjoy your mods, however at current that mod seems to not show up with yours installed.

Open up my mod in s3pe and delete the duplicate entry, which has the following instance 0xC2D9D4BE5390D589 ID, then save. Both mods edit this file. If you are feeling particularly clever and adventurous, you could use winmerge and merge both those xml together.

All these mods are purely for my own personal needs/likes. I share them in case others wish to make use of them. At the moment I don't plan on supporting more mods than I make use of myself. You can always try opening up the file yourself and extending it a few rows in either direction. It's purely down to editing the box dimensions to suit your own needs and only requires s3pe, notepad, a bit of simple math and some trial and error.

I'm aware of that but, even if my game is fully patched, the scroll does not work. I modified all the ramps and used Skininator to mix and match ND skins but those changes shouldn't impact the scroll. Anach's mod is a good solution until I figure out how I messed up CAS.

The fact that this mod is working.

Same here. Doesn't have a scroll-bar, but does indeed scroll with the mouse wheel.

I don't actually use that in my game, so I've not noticed, but I just had a look and you are correct, it is mistakenly marked for the "naked" category. I wont be updating it, as I had planned on removing that particular file next update.

For 7z to work by double-click, you need to make sure it has been associated with archive files. Do this in the 7z options. Otherwise as JC says, right click and extract.

Interesting. I guess I never noticed, as my Sim family is already super rich, I don't sell lifefruit, I've only ever made one Simbot and until recently I had opportunities turned off. :P

I'll revert the values to default for next release (with the Generations patch.) By default the lifefruit is 25 and the flamefruit 18.

Actually, as they are simply .xml tweaks, and they modify much of the same files as mine, they wont work without awesome mod (or other enabler) installed. The only thing that could cause a problem is Twoftmama's files have not been updated since last year.

That's the same sex pregnancy version for freaks. It will still need an activator to work. Also I believe the new version of Twallan's woohooer doesn't need an XML tweak at all for it to enable these things, which would make that particular non-awesome mod friendly version mostly pointless, except for the other interaction tweaks..

This is why with the next patch my Teen TFB mod will become more of a general autonomous interaction tweak. The TFB xml tweak is made redundant with Twallan's woohooer mod.

The WA registers buyable goods may be blocking the consignment store in 1.19.  With it, the buy/consign menu doesn't show up at all, not even in a brand new 3-Sim day old world.  Taking it out allowed the consignment shop to open for buying or consigning.

It is in the "Family Oriented" special dialogue, although when asking other Sims "Ask if Single" or "Ask Sign" when you relationship is not high enough they will still have negative reaction. I also got my YA Female Sims in trouble with the law (PedoBear) when she ask a Teen Female her sign and relationship status under that Special Dialogue.

Try For Baby is also under Family-Oriented.  I don't think the fact that an interaction is considered Family-Oriented precludes it from being romantic.

Anach, the All_Buyable_1.22 was busting the consignment store this time.  I took out everything related to consignment and it looks like it works so far (didn't try a vacation to see for absolute certain).  Nice having it all rolled into one, including death flowers.

I've just reverted a couple consignment related changes, and tested the consignment register in bridgeport (my test game), which is working fine.

You will need to re-download the packages and replace the all_buyable. If it doesn't work, then it must be something specific to twinbrook, or you have a conflicting mod somewhere. I'm unsure what else in that file could be causing your issue.

I've removed the pregnancy mod for now, until I work out what is causing Sims to get stuck pregnant. At the moment I am unsure if it's caused solely by my mod or a specific combination, but for safety I would suggest to anyone using it, to remove it until I can track down the problem.

Thanks for the report. I had a suspicion that might be the case due to the modifications to the socializing xml. However, I'll most likely have to combine it into my interaction tweaks for it to work. Or have a bunch of compatibility tweaks, which I don't want to do. I'll look into it. Just need some teens in my house.

I had the same problem, I thought it was just me doing something wrong.

Should be fixed now. Although I've had to merge it into my interaction tweaks, as it needed tweaks in the socialising xml (this makes other things available to teens also).

Added some more mods, updated some, modified others. File modification times will show which, though it's always best to simply update them anyway.

Yeah thanx anach, this was one of the reasons I wouldn't download this.
I just started tweaking NRaas tuning  xml's for myself and and with your help now I'm satisfied with this mod ;)

That is a good idea.  I'll have a look an see if I can locate a tuning file, and then hope there are separate values for group/single servings.

As pre-modded OBJD files have been known to cause game breakage (mostly lock-ups), the catalogue mods have been changed to use the s3sr scripting tool.

Unless Buzzler has done something new today with his interactions mod, they shouldn't share any similar files. His mod adds his own tuning files, and doesn't change any existing game xml. I can't remember all the changes off the top of my head, but If Buzzler tweaks a similar interaction, then it will likely overwrite/replace any settings I have changed for the base interaction, so you can safely use both together.

However, mine haven't yet been updated to the latest patch. Not sure when I'll get around to it at this stage, as I'm having a much needed Sims 3 break and finishing off a few other games I bought but never played.

Well I know there was a bug with 1.22 that caused Sims to get stuck pregnant (if they got reset), but I've not heard of the opposite, nor have I had that issue myself. The only difference with my pregnancy tweak is that it makes the pregnancy duration longer, so the bump may take longer to show than with the standard length pregnancy.

I'm in the process of updating mods as we speak, and the pregnancy mod should be fine, as no updates were needed.

I had the problem of the baby bump not showing, and found it was CC Clothing not having pregnancy morph.   When I dressed sim in appropriate clothing the bump appeared.

There is also some Generations clothing marked for pregnancy, but it has no morph. More sloppy EA categorisation.

That wouldn't explain why the bump grows back when I take out the mod.
I tried with everything out, even DBCs except awesome and longer preg, no bump. I have to find a no cd to try without awesome.

Finally finished updating to the current patch, although I'm still not actually playing at the moment. There shouldn't be any issues, but as always, let me know if you come across anything.

Also I have included a couple mods that I generated with velocitygrass' tools (MTS), simply because they were in the folder where I keep all my mods. For those two mods in particular it maybe best to generate your own using velocitygrass' mod tools, that way you get your own choice of options. Up to you.

This is the first time i've had your mods conflict with a new version/EP. Guess something big-ish changed. Or i've just been getting lucky. Either way, I can't choose a Lifetime Wish while these Mods are in my Packages folder so i'm just gonna wait for the new versions.

There should be no conflict with my mod and awesome mod. You can check for duplicate files by opening both in s3pe. It's more likely dashboard is reporting a false positive, or it's telling you something other than conflict errors.

You can use your mouse scroll wheel to see more skins if you can't use my mod.

The option to see more CAS skins is not compatible with 1.26, so you'll need to use the mouse wheel to see more skins. I have more than just the basic 6 that come with the game, and it works fine.

Anachroschism is the soldier name, but unless you are in Australia, I doubt you'll see me playing.

The update for pets is about priority. Skyrim and SWTOR this week. Then between now and Christmas there is LA Noire, Batman: Arkham City, MW3, Jurassic Park, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Metro: Last Light, Trine 2, LOTR: War in the North............ etc. I hope to fit in Pets somewhere between all that.

While I can patch these files without the Pets EP or play testing, there isn't much incentive for me to do so unless I want to play too. If there is a mod you particularly like, you might be best getting winMerge, and altering the files yourself. It's very easy to alter XML files. Or even finding a similar mod on MTS, which there are no doubt plenty.

All I can say at the moment is Soon™ :)

I enjoy the single player of MW, multiplayer sucks balls compared to BF3, unless you like a rehashed version of quake multiplayer, and I was never an Arena or UT player.

I can't say which mods need updating without actually going to update them, and then I might as well. Likely a lot wont actually need updating, but if they do, it might crash or cause strange behaviour. WinMerge is very easy to use. Just copy the xml from my mod  to the one side of winmerge, and the same xml from gameplayData.package (same resource ID) into the other side of winmerge, and compare the data. You will quickly see what I have altered and what (if anything) is missing.

It's a pain when mod authors don't update their mods, but as I stated, I only provide files for the version I'm currently playing. Unfortunately for the majority at this stage, I'm still unpatched. This is why I encourage other people to take my mods and do their own edits. It's very easy once you know which file to change, as finding the right xml to tune initially can be the most difficult part.

The link on the first page has worked for me in the past and I can access all other mediafire links. Oh well. In case anyone is wondering why I want these even though I'll be installing Pets - in case I want to uninstall due to bugs and borked CC I just need to swap my mod folder.

I see what you mean about the time now and between christmas. Every game company out there are aiming to release their game so it can be found under the tree, probably pushing the deadline so we'll get some extra bugs and crap  :P

Zed Pee Em, would you mind sharing the mods you have updated? Or if anyone else can? Yes it might sound like a piece of cake to edit it myself to you but to me its like fighting a horde of rhinos wanting to kill me. If Anach would be fine with anyone else uploading updated versions, of course.

Anach_ReducedMemories - Reduced memories for certain events (don't ask) Made using velocitygrass' "No (or fewer) automatic memories mod tool" (MTS)
Anach_WashHandsChance - Normal Sims have 75% change of washing hands. Slobs 0%, Neat 100%.

As far as I noticed during my own use of custom skins, random generated Sims will only use the default skins. However, if Sims with custom skins have babies, they will usually share the same custom skin as their parents, which causes problems later if you want to remove the skin.

No he doesn't mind one little bit.

However, it is not possible that my mod conflicts with multiple mods you use, unless you are using mods which already conflict with each other. My mod only edits a single xml (0xC804E72F531C6AAD). So at most, there should be only one conflict. Regardless, you can either ask Twoftmama, or tell me which mod mine apparently conflicts with so I can take a look myself, and you may even find I already include similar changes in my file.

Just say the word, Anach.

Only if it bothers you. Otherwise it's just light entertainment.

Anyways, like I said, I'm learning how to mod, I've read some tutorials at simswiki, not getting very far because of time restraints but I'll probably get the hang of it once I have some actual time to kill, shouldn't be too hard to do, the tuts seem pretty extensive....On this particular matter, my weak attempt is trying to find that ID, (0xC804E72F531C6AAD) in the one of the code tables but no luck, (I think I have an idea why...)

In my downloads I had Twoftmama's "Don't Eat Unless I Tell You To/Visitors Cant Use Fridge Combo" and "Don't Eat From Inventory", and it's obvious why they they conflicted so I took "Don't Eat From Inventory" out and your "Ambrosia Group Serve" popped out of nowhere with a conflict (Yes, I do understand how Delphy's Dash works). So which changes to your mod conflict with "Don't Eat Unless I Tell You To/Visitors Cant Use Fridge Combo"?

There is no conflict between those files. My Anach_AmbrosiaGroupServe mod and Twoftmama's Don't Eat Unless I Tell You To \Visitors Cant Use Fridge Combo mod edit totally different files. Open up both files with s3pe, and you can see Twoftmama only edits ITUN files, where mine is _XML, they also have different instance IDs. If there is a conflict report with the Dashboard, either it's wrong or you're reading the conflict report wrong. If it's wrong, I suggest posting it on the MTS board as an error.

I am almost at the point of option C so I'm ever so slowly learning how to mod the game myself. Sims 3 BFBVFS usually happen to lesser player like you who instead of learning how to fix something, re-install 100000000000x everytime a booboo happens, goodness why do people insist on idiocy. Something like running into a glass door continuously when it's obvious that there's a handle and it can open to let you through, because it's a wannabe splurker. I think I'm overly confusing myself, and so was Delphy's Dash, which was my mistake. I since then actually looked into the files and seen which ones are conflicting. I cleaned my greedy ass but decently organized enough, downloads folder; now DD can actually read properly, Twoftmama's Meals anytime is the culprit. Also, was her Save Money Eat Leftovers was conflicting with Don't Eat Unless I Tell You To/Visitors Cant Use Fridge Combo, my stupid mistake, and she said she would combine those two, but that still leave out your Ambrosia mod.

They are compatible with the version I state they are compatible with on the first post. Anything past that is likely to be broken and at the user's own risk. I haven't updated to the latest patch yet. I will update the mods once I do.

I haven't come across that issue, ice cream trucks work fine for me, I'm using 1.26 and the Ambrosia mod.

I wonder if it's a double conflict, then? When I was at the very end of my testing I had kept AmbrosiaGroupServe in and had ice cream selection available, but then I came to the last mod I had to test (CameraHeightMin) (which I was devastated about, because I couldn't fathom how in the world that would affect the truck) , but when I removed it, the ice cream selection was still blank. So I took out Ambrosia once more, and lo, I had ice cream again.

 
I hope this makes sense. My mind is all over the place. Main Point: This situation is strange because, on one hand, Ambrosia will not interfere with the ice cream truck, but then, if I have all my other mods in (the ones declared innocent by testing), Ambrosia will interfere with the ice cream truck, yet if I remove Ambrosia, the conflict will terminate and the ice cream truck will no longer be empty.

Give me a few hours and I'll double-check the code against 1.26 and see if I can see any possible way this could cause the issue. If you are merging mods, then it should take care of any conflicting xml files. Otherwise, if you can't wait, use winmerge and open up gameplayData.package and compare my file to your original.

*edit* Double-checked, and couldn't see any errors, or anything else that would affect the ice-cream truck.

Well to answer the question. My mods work with the patch version listed on the first post, and the readme. I can't guarantee it will be free from breakages if used with a latter version, as it depends on the mod used and what's been patched. Though I've explained this in previous posts already.

I just got the new SP today, but I haven't had time to sit and update my mods or play it yet.

Well your mods appear to be working fine for me with Master Suite Stuff. I put it down to the fact that this was a stuff pack that only added 27 new objects (from what I counted), 5 male pieces of clothing (not including recolours, just meshes), 1 male hairstyle, 36 pieces of female clothing (not including recolours, just the new meshes), and 4 female hairstyle (3 with forced accessories), 1 female head accessory, all restricted to adults (with the exception of the hairstyles). It's just an over glorified selection of crapola that, because it's in a shiny box, they can whack a higher price tag on it. There is nothing "new" about this, of course I didn't pay for it, stuff that.

If you are looking to speed up the updating process for all of your mods, I checked four of your mods for compatibility with Showtime. These mods are the ones I installed for Showtime:

Anach_ChildrenTrainSimFix
Anach_InteractionQueueLimit16
Anach_MedicalPanicChildFix
Anach_WashHandsChance

The above mods do not need updating for Showtime.

The only mods I didn't put into my Mods folder are:

Anach_CASSkins6x4 (There is supposed to be a new component in CAS that should have added more colors to the skintones, but I haven't seen that yet.)
Anach_NoIntro (This one probably needs updating, but it is safer to wait for further clarification first than to blow up Showtime.)
Anach_NoQToQuit (This one probably don't need updating, but with the way EA programs Sims 3 these days, it is wise to wait for clarification first.)

For what it's worth, I'm running Anach_NoIntro and Anach_NoQToQuit with Showtime/1.33 without problems.

I don't use Anach_CASSkins6x4 or Anach_CASDetails8x2, but I'd imagine there are issues with CAS UI mods and anything post-1.31, unless all the stuff regarding skintones etc. in 1.32 has been totally removed.

^ Twallan's ErrorTrap is picking up 1k+ script errors for me with these three, but I'm using all the service NPC tweaks (Mixologist, Repairman etc.), interaction tweaks, tweaks to bills and fees, and pregnancy tweaks without noticing any problems.

Well I'd been using a low end replacement PC for over a month, so it took me longer than expected to sort my data and get everything I needed transferred across. I didn't get much done on the weekend either, as I had to wait for an important email that didn't show up. Then to add to the delay, they sent me a brand new, but whole different motherboard as a replacement, which meant I had to redo my nice neat case layout, and Windows doesn't appear happy with upgrade either, which means I'll probably have to do a fresh reinstall, and I really hate having to do that. Beside all that, my main concern at this moment has been getting my car modifications/repairs finished to get it registered and insured (I had to find something to do for the last month without a gaming PC), and that has taken longer than expected.

The good news is, the EP is installing as I type this, however, I'm leaving in an hour, so we'll see how this weekend goes.

She would get the route fail thought bubble whenever I requeued the action. I could send her close to the stadium then do a few "go here" actions until she was close enough to send her in. As far as the warehouse, she got into the car to go to work then it dumped her right before the warehouse and again I had to do a couple "go here" actions to finally get her inside. The following Sim day I also noticed that other families were just standing around when they should be at work.

I'm not sure what's going on, and would really like to play your tweaked version as Sunset Valley has always been one of my favorites too.

I can't say I've noticed any routing issues those locations, and have been sending Sims there frequently, but I do have some routing tweaks installed which might be making a difference. I'll have a look at the routing around those areas and do some testing of those areas over the weekend.

I had a good look around the stadium and couldn't find anything obvious. I had to rebuild the routing data anyway after I fixed some other routing issues outside the town area, and also fixed a rogue tree that somehow made its way into the street. My Sims still have no issues with the Stadium area either. Try the new version and see how you go. I have my Sports Bar and Dog Park in those two new lots.

As for the routing tweaks, I'm using Twoftmama Route Fix Flavor 2 v4 (http://simsasylum.com/tfm/). One other tweak people often use is the sims3.ini in the Game\Bin folder. However, mine is currently default.

Yes everything will continue as normal. Just be sure to backup your saves before uninstalling the world, so the game doesn't delete them. If you have any routing issues, please let me know where, and if possible, include some screenshots of the affected area.

Another update: Separated toilet/bath sit interactions into its own package with a fix for uber-toilet missing translation. Added NoAutoHypnotizer to remove the autonomous use of the hypnotizer (Visiting sims would spend the entire time self-hypnotized). Altered the Potion price mod, and removed the OBJD edits for sale prices, as I intend to include those with another mod I'll be releasing soon.

Yes, I took it out as I was having issues. Although I had fixed the issue I was having, it's safer to use the tool on MTS to create your own. That file needs updating every patch, or you may end up missing effects from objects and Sims.\

I haven't updated for 1.34 yet. Started working on it today, but some family decided to visit, and then had to convince my daughter back to her own PC. I'll try get some done this evening.

Just happened the patch came out on the week I have my Daughter for school break. This coupled with my 8 year old file server died this week, so am waiting for parts and having to do everything from backups. Very inconvenient of EA as usual!

Love these mods! Using most of them, though I tried to sieve off the ones which appear to be specifically for EPs. I'm running Sims 3 base game, at 1.36 patch.

I especially like the Epic lifespan setting, and the pregnancy tweak. I like the idea of it lasting longer and going realistically!

Been playing with the mods for about a week and a half now, no problems, but after I got my sim pregnant, the game has started freezing oddly every time she plans to do something, as if my system were struggling with the planning of the action. She'll stand up from bed, freeze in place and the clock will stop, and then about 10-15 seconds later she'll go on about her life as if nothing were wrong.

I'm testing for the moment to see if this is a problem of a conflict with other mods (Using some of BUZZ's mods, aging management, seed box and expanded interactions, and Treeag's Breastfeeding, and NRASS' WooHooer). I'll update if I find the fault is due to other mods.

Another one of those issues that everyone but me is having :P

I plan to go over that area in the next update, but with my recent look over that area I was unable to find anything amiss. All my Sims enter and exit that building perfectly fine. Did you uninstall the previous version of the world before attempting to update to the newer version, and clear your world caches? (you can't install over the top).

Well...  There are ways to do it, with say a monitoring task that routinely watches for the existence of taxis and bills their occupants.

However, I do not consider that a sound approach, due to the high processing requirements.

So, it is possible, just not feasible in my mind, and unfortunately cannot be done via tuning. :)

Those two shouldn't haven't changed. It's mostly the xml mods which are likely to have issues.

Honestly, the patches are really annoying me too. All I want to do is just sit down and play some Sims, but to be able to do that, I not only have to update all my mods, but everyone else's mods too, which means hours of editing custom configs and checking which files need updating (Last time took me a couple days). On top of that, I've just moved house and still unpacking, and as part of the house move I'm trying to reduce the amount of PCs I have, in an attempt to cut down on power consumption and noise. So I'm in the process of getting rid of my separate domain controller/fire wall/mail server and distributing it between my network file server and router. This means some domain transfer, active directory configuration, lots of database transfers and a bunch of other stuff I don't really feel like doing. Between all that, I've been trying to finish off Skyrim, and help my mother deal with my terminally ill grandmother. So the hours I do have free are are better spent elsewhere unfortunately. Wish I could wave a magic wand and just have it done for me, because I just want to play. :)

From the date on this topic, it looks like I haven't played Sims since mid July. :(

Unfortunately my family is a bit paranoid on the internet front, and my internet-saavy administrator has us using OpenDNS domain filtering. That means no phishing sites, less Pornz, and a kinda blanket-block on sites like Mediafire, etc, since they'e so popular for Warez.

Can anyone possibly share a dropbox, skydrive or similar link for these downloads?

From my experience, activity pause is generally caused by CPU overload, and that is usually down to the hardware you have and the amount of script mods you have installed. The older and bigger a town gets, the worse it gets.  All my mods are xml, and object tweaks, there are no script mods. Overall lag (continuous) is usually caused by bad custom content, or lack of decent hardware). The usual bugs you may encounter from an outdated xml mod is that something doesn't work right, or you're missing artwork, or text. A common one seems to be the life time wish vanishes from the HUD, or with some cases, a total game freeze or CTD when you click something.

As this was a very minor patch, I only did a quick file compare and it showed up nothing, so unless someone reports an issue, I'm going to assume that all is ok with this update. I've not had a chance to thoroughly play-test the game myself, as I'm still importing my old families to the new version of St Claire.

I've been using everything except AllBuyable, ClubClosingTimes_12hr, DiapiersToNappies and PregnancyTweaks in my up-to-date game for about 90 game days, and haven't had any issues (except some weirdness with a butler recently which prompted me to disable Butler_Tweaks, but I'd never used a butler before that and haven't played much since, so I don't know whether it's the mod, the game, or my lack of understanding of how the mod or the game are supposed to work).

Butlers have always been a bit twitchy, which is why I prefer to make my own using a normal CAS Sim and Twallan's "Make NPC" option from Master Controller. I got tired of butlers vanishing, resetting their beds, losing inventory, getting stuck and being short on interactions.

Hello, the mod seems great, but I just discovered, that none of my sims can cook! I have a fridge, a stove and a clean free counter. There are no interactions available with both fridge and stove.
-after I learned 2 skill points of cooking, my sim can make pet gournet food
-after I bought one of very few recipes in shop (there were only 8 or so available) and I learned it. I could do this one meal afterwards (cheese plates). But still no quick meal or salad or anything.

(I posted it here, because before I installed the mod, I didn't have this problem)

Any ideas? solutions? please

I was hoping to update this weekend, but ended up having a surprise visit from my daughter and two very hot days in a row, so not much got done. I haven't felt that urge to patch yet, as I haven't got the EP yet, and so have a lack of desire to play right now. I will get to it, but as usual, it will just happen when it happens. :)

You can probably find alternatives to most my mods on MTS anyway, and as usual I encourage people to get winmerge and update the xml themselves, as it's quite easy once you've done it once.

Is it just me being moronic (wouldn't be the first time) or have the following mods disappeared from you collection for patch 1.55?

They have indeed vanished. I haven't used them for a long while now, so I didn't feel a desire to update them this time around. However, there doesn't appear to be any changes to those files, so as far as I can tell, the last version should be fine to use.

Both of those are covered by AM.  If you use that you don't need those.

I don't recall seeing my Sim making calls autonomously, only receiving them, is this what you mean? It's not something I'd use myself, although, I'm pretty sure I saw a mod somewhere for the latter, which would stop Sims answering the phone, but you'd still need to mute the calls.

That would be something like a no idles mod; taking out things like holding the camera, pressing phone buttons and such. I believe there is already a mod about for that too, as there are plenty of people that like to play Sims that way. You might be best off posting in the WCIF thread.

Does anyone know which ones of these mods do or do not work for 1.63? So far I am not seeing any problems, but I want to be sure something isn't going to kill my game slowly from the inside.

The only one I peeked into was AllBuyable, which is missing code for the EP11 books, at least. WinMerge is a really easy way to check where the differences exist. New code usually sticks out like a sore thumb.

You can use the list here to compare the XML name/instance ID: http://www.simlogical.com/ContentUploadsRemote/uploads/2227/TS3_XML_Changes163_Nona.txt

If the XML is on the list, something's been changed about it. Some of the changes were very minor (or in some cases, insignificant, such as changing a comment only), so they might not be a big deal. Other XMLs had major changes, though, and those will cause problems when used with the wrong patch level.

If the XML is on the list, you can check the changes in WinMerge and decide if you want to use the mod or not.

Rubyelf:  I had the same problems with Anach's mods interfering with the future portal, and so far I've ruled out:

Genie Tweak
IceCream Truck fix
Medical Panic Child fix
Newspaper Tweaks
No Annoying Music
No Auto Pet Wake Up
Party Tweaks
Reaction Remover
Vampire Tweaks

At least those are the ones I'm running right now and I'm able to use the portal.  This is just for anyone's information.  I'm not planning on doing more testing to find out specifics.

Ditto, I played Sims 4 for a week, returned it, and went back to playing Sims 3. It's good to see you back, Anach.  I'll make sure to edit this post if I have any issues.

I did have that problem with an early version, but thought I had fixed it in the current version of the world. I haven't had the issue at all since. You could try reinstalling the world and clearing your caches, or you could try removing and replanting the lot, just be sure to save the lot to the library first.

I might be kind of talking to nobody here, but on the off chance that OP sees this, I have a couple of questions about Sunset Valley Expanded. It's great, it's definitely my favorite remake of SV I know of, but I kind of want to make my own version, or at least tweak yours some in the Create a World tool. First, is it possible to download the files needed for CAW from SV Expanded? And second, how did you manage to get all the ghosts into the game? From what I can tell it's impossible to put those in a town through CAW.
