Title: Can't Update Post by: mizuru on 2009 December 20, 05:28:36 I'm curious to know if there's any way for Awesomemod to keep my Sims 3 game from updating. I've tried removing it (by deleting the awesome and aweconfig files), but I still get an error message saying that an "invalid file" was found.
And if it isn't Awesomemod, does anyone know what it might be or how I can fix this problem? The updater doesn't even know the mods folder exists. Other people have had problems with the whole "invalid file found" thing, and I suggest you look in "The Horror, The Horror!" section for more info.

When I manually downloaded and tried installing the updates I got the same error, but when I used the launcher it worked just fine. |
