Title: Awesomemod 2.28 expiration coming soon. Post by: RandomInsolence on 2009 December 18, 20:11:24 I'm aware this has probably been asked elsewhere 47.3 trillion times. But how do you remove the expiration date from awesome mod? The 2.28 version expires on the 20th, and I recently tried updating to 2.3 only to find out that all my CC and Riverview was going to be missing from the game. So yeah, hopefully Pescado or someone else will help me out on this one. I could probably just turn my system clock back after the 20th, but that would probably get old after a bit. I really don't want to patch again until they come out with another patch to fix the patch. :(

With regard to the issues with the current patch, there are work-arounds for most issues. For one thing, review the thread on the current patch in "The Horror, The Horror".

Title: Re: Awesomemod 2.28 expiration coming soon. Post by: SquireJames on 2009 December 19, 01:10:23 Begs the question, why have it expire in the first place?
Title: Re: Awesomemod 2.28 expiration coming soon. Post by: jmtmom on 2009 December 19, 01:37:40 Pescado does whatever the hell he wants, hence the expiration. You can use Twallan's no cd hack to circumvent it. It worked for me until I was ready to update to the 1.79 patch. He's flounced to a new site apparently, I don't have the link handy.

Search! The hell. Title: Re: Awesomemod 2.28 expiration coming soon. Post by: MrMugg on 2009 December 19, 02:12:05 Where do you find the date Awesomemod expires? I'm using one for "Base Game Version 1.3.24 or 1.4.6.", and it's still working for me. I haven't updated yet, because I haven't gone any further than that patch. Eventually, I will have to.

Shut the fuck up, you little shit. In case you FAILED to noticed the 1.7.9/1.7.11/2.2.8 version is set to expire as downloading it again does nothing (like your brain) to solve it, as I cannot speak for the 1.8/2.3 version since I am not going "patch" my game AGAIN to get a broken Launcher. So my choices are clear on this subject,of course we COULD get a answer for the man himself over further 1.7.9/1.7.11/2.2.8 support but hey, its not I am expecting much ... certain not from "senators". Pescado on 2009 December 19, 03:39:23 I have extended the expiration on the 228 version, so that it will last quite some time now. But no further support can be provided for it.
