Title: HELP? Post by: niedermen on 2009 December 12, 06:45:23 When I put awesomemod in my game, it either gets the old car error every time or the bar just doesn't fill up with green at all. With my custom aweconf.package, the game works, but none of the awesomemod features are in it. Can someone please help, I can't play without awesomemod?!?!?!?! ???
Title: Re: HELP? Post by: coconnor on 2009 December 12, 06:50:49 Follow the directions in HOW TO INSTALL THE FRAMEWORK under the AwesomeMod section. It sounds like it is framework fail.
EDIT: You mention your "custom Aweconfig file", and this prompted me to remind you that you need the actual AwesomeMod file in addition to the Aweconfig file. Therefore, please ensure that you have both. Most importantly, you need the actual AwesomeMod file, since without that, there is nothing for your Aweconfig file to configure! Title: Re: HELP? Post by: niedermen on 2009 December 12, 16:37:42 I have reinstalled the framework twice. I have no other custom content/mods whatsoever. I removed aweconf.package and only put awesomemod in. However, it does the same thing. This does not happen when I have no mods.

You have to make sure your game is updated to the latest version. For the base game, I believe that would be 1.7.9 ... for World Adventures it's 2.2.08 or something like that. AwesomeMod is not compatible with older versions.
