Title: recipe books
Post by: kmonica on 2009 November 18, 17:59:10
Hi everyone,

Has anybody ever seen Sims reading recipe books autonomously?? Just curious.. Mine only read "regular books". It'd be cool to see them read something productive once in a while! Lol

Nope.  This has never happened in my game either.  You could, of course, just select your sim and make them read a recipe book.  That works too.  The recipe books can even be in the library, if you select that option in awesomemod.

Also, your use of "lol" makes you look 12.

They don't read them because, without awesomemod, those recipes disappear after reading, making random reading a bad thing.

Less of the extraneous punctuation please. Also, did this really warrant a whole new thread? No, I didn't think so.

...without awesomemod...

This part of your sentence is incomprehensible.  What is this "without awesomemod" method of which you speak?  You can get recipe books in the library that will not disappear with awesomemod, which might be useful to the OP, so any point about playing without awesomemod is irrelevant.

Now, about getting those recipe books in the library with AM.  I have AM installed, with the 'recipe books in library' option enabled, and still have not seen a single recipe book in the library.  What else do I have to do to get them there?
