More Awesome Than You!

I've done a few searches and I haven't been able to find an answer to my question.  Please accept my apology if there is an answer already that I failed to find.

I'm playing my sims on epic life span, the problem is, they are all almost to the end of their careers and they aren't even into adulthood yet.  Is there a way to change it so that sims have a much more difficult time getting promotions?

Try putting the job level difficulty up in Awesomeconfig.

Thank you!  How high can you set it to, please?  And, where do I find all of the keys to these commands?  I know I can look at them with "showconfig" but it tell you what it is set at not how to change it.  For example. after I read your reply I looked and the config is at "jobdifficultyscaling 1" but it does not tell me if I can scale it to 2 or 3 or 4.....

Adjust the numbers in the Configuration Tool (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/awesome/config.php). As to what number you set it to, I have no idea. You'd have to make some tests to get a balanced number.

If you simply turn on Difficulty Scaliing, job performance gains will be scaled to aging lengths. You can make it even harder by stacking the difficulty on top of that.

Apparently this will not stop the game insta-promoting them to fill job mission slots though...
