Title: Owned community lot no longer a business. Post by: Alex on 2009 September 02, 20:41:47 Well something very odd has happened here.
Basically I have a sim who owns a salon business. I haven't played the family in quite a long time, since way before I installed AL when it first came out. Anyway, I sent my sim over to the business, and although I can access Buy/Build mode and offer free makeovers, the lot pretty much acts like an unowned community lot. There is a cashier NPC at the register; there is no business tracker; everyone acts like it's an unowned lot, and the doors are unselectable (although fortunately my lock setting is still evidently there, keeping the peasants out of the employee quarters). I have no idea what has happened and was wondering what to do next? Title: Re: Owned community lot no longer a business. Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2009 September 03, 02:22:54 I think the business data has gotten mangled at some point. Leave the lot, sell it, and then rebuy it. That should restore its business-ness.
