Okay, I was playing The Sims 2, and all of a sudden... my PC crashes on me, giving me this 'Windows has detected an error' on a blue screen. So... I rebooted, and everything was fine.
Ack! I'm so computer illiterate... what do I need to do to fix it? I'm running a virus scan as we speak, then going to do Adaware stuff, and then Defrag... I hope a format isn't necessary. x.x; Advice? So I ran spybot each time it happened and it seemed to fix the problem temporarily.

especially when playing sims 2 a lot - defragging often is pretty much a must... I aim to do mine once a week, and it does run a bit faster afterwards...
