Title: View and Rename Files?
Post by: shannon_elaine on 2009 August 09, 04:46:37
The installer doesn't show me everything that I have installed and there are things I want to remove etc. I'd also really like to be able to rename the files so that I actually know what they are. Is there a program out yet anywhere that will let me view my installed content and delete it? Maybe even rename the file?   ???

You don't need a special program to do it. All EA downloads can be found right there. If it's non-EA custom content, you probably used the Installer Monkey, correct? If that's the case, check out:

You can hand pick any content you have used for TS3, quick and easy.

I re-name all of my mods so I know which is which. It's really quite tidy. So, you can re-name them yourself as well. Just right-click on them and then click "re-name".

Renaming them is the simple part.  Determining what each package contains is more difficult.  The best way to be organized is to rename the package as soon as you install, since you're likely to know what it is at that time.  However, if you've already got a lot of CC, it's more difficult.  I just used S3PE to examine all of my packages and rename them, but it's a tedious process.  Does anyone know of a program which will make it easier to identify a package?
