Title: Non-replacement new objects, cheap freezer and others Post by: Delry on 2009 July 25, 04:06:14 Hi, I have time in these forums, but I had not registered until now to comment these downloads In the forums of Capitalsims (A spanish site) a user has created several new non-replacement objects for the game, including a new freezer, paintings and more. (http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/4423/dsrefrigeradorvista.jpg) (http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3299/dscustomsnoopypaint.jpg) (http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/1319/dscustomstarwarspaint.jpg) (http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/8581/dspackstarwarsteenmale.jpg) (http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/8959/dsaccessorywatch.jpg) These are replacement streets (http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/1417/dsreemplazodecallesok.jpg) He has been working directly with the code to clone objects and is doing pretty good. The freezer works fine, I was a beta-tester These downloads come with their own installer, you just have to specify the path where The Sims 3 is installed and the package file and the resource.cfg file will be automatically installed. If you want to download and try, this is the link (http://foro.capitalsim.net/viewtopic.php?f=184&t=17033) to the post Title: Re: Non-replacement new objects, cheap freezer and others Post by: Larku on 2009 July 25, 14:26:14 Nice stuff.
I'm not much of a Star wars fan myself though. Keep up the good work. Title: Re: Non-replacement new objects, cheap freezer and others Post by: littlehouse on 2009 July 25, 18:09:27 Hot damn, replacement roads? I'm going to snag these while they're still hot. Thank you for the links.

It's nice having different roads. ;D Title: Re: Non-replacement new objects, cheap freezer and others Post by: Frick on 2009 July 26, 05:29:48 A little warning, these mods' installers will overwrite your Resource.cfg with the below version. If you have one with additional folders or special priorities setup, do not use it. "Install" in a temp folder instead and move the packages to your Mods folder. Would setting resource.cfg to read-only work as well? Title: Re: Non-replacement new objects, cheap freezer and others Post by: TwoToot on 2009 July 26, 06:06:55 Why not just make them yourself with the new object tool?
