Wow someone who doesn't have a phobia of making the lower half of textures realistic.  Nice job really don't know why most of the people who make the skin textures can't do this.

Thanks, this is grate! No seriously. I like fully realistic skins, the lack of genitalia squick me out. HP's skins annoyed me, as they suffer from that "carpet does not match the drapes" problem. Personally, I prefer neatly trimmed short pubes on women, but until someone can figure out how to put a color slider there, then these will have to do. ...if, they can be downloaded.

So, I'll load a link here when it uploads, but there are a couple problems with the skin I'll smooth out when I get the chance:
-There is a line at the neck where the skin is a bit darker than the head (easily fixable)
-The nipples and genitalia lose detail when the skin is really dark, so I'll have to see what I can do

I see several possible fixes for the "Carpet does not match the drapes" issue. 

The first and probably easiest to enact would be as an accessory which you would have to color seperately from the hair.  You would have to make sure that the undies textures applied over top of these but a skilled clothing maker could probably do this.

The second and harder of the two would require adding a new catagory to hair.  When I used "disableclothingfilter on" it displayed the "facial hair" catagory for women even though there were no items in the catagory.  This means that the hairs may be considered clothes now (which would explain why it doesn't store information about "genetic" hair color anymore).  Perhaps a new hair catagory could be added (not sure of the difficulty on this) for "body hair" for men and women which would enable people to make various bodyhair textures to apply so that not everyone in their town had the same amount of body hair.

We do have a tool that can see the categories, eyebrows that actually CAN read the color data that is stored in the hair root are categorized as makeup.

I am going to say what is the brick wall we are going to hit in this, the fact a facial overlay only loads the HEAD texture and never the BODY texture and that is the body texture we have to edit.

Right now the only thing I think that can be used as body hair is the stockings/socks on the accessory category since it seems they are a overlay and they do load the body textures.

I guess in a way they made body hair easier to do this time because of socks/stockings and CAS.

In fact, the nurses at the Veterans Administration Hospital near where I live seem to enjoy removing it when I go for visits.  I think they use super glue on the EKG electrodes so that when they pull them off I have little round bald spots on my chest.  And they never put them in the same place twice.  I have come to the conclusion that they are using me to relieve their frustrations at having endured some sort of depilatory experience themselves.

So I say let the hair grow!  Don't shave it, don't wax it, and for goodness sake don't use super glue on mine. 

And whatever you do, don't marry a wax-crazed esthetician, like I did.  *cringes and tries to hide any body hair.

It gets finer each time because it's the root bed being removed - it also doesn't hurt because you use a wax with calendula oil in it, which is a relaxant.

Actually those are very nice skins and I prefer those out of all currently available. However, my partner and I both agree that the shadowing or defining lines (whatever you may call them), are a little too dark in comparison to the light skin colours. Though thats our only complaint.

We have a request though, and that is we are wondering if its possible to make a male version to suit the male penis model that's available elsewhere? While its not the best model, it's the only one we've found so far.

not sure if someone has mentioned it before, but drop.io is pretty good. you can upload up to 100 mb for free. The only thing is, I believe it deletes drops after a year. In any case, I'm sure it would be more effective than having the download stop working after 10...

You could use "disableclothingfilter true", then "dresser" the sim and select the nude top and bottom.

that seems to conflict since the breasts seem to be the default skin, while the bottom works fine.

I can't seem to get these to work... is there something else I need to install as well? I used TS3 Monkey Installer to install them. It moved them to the mods folder and created a resource.cfg file. But they are working. I still just have a blur for a censor. Sorry... I'm new to this

Quick question please - is this compatible with the 1.7 patch and with World Adventures?  I don't have WA yet but I do have the 1.7 patch.  I need new skins and I hate the EA skins.  Can I safely use this?   Also, will these turn up nude in my game?  I don't have the depixilator or whatever the thing is called.

All replacement skintones should work with any version of the game, as far as I know. You'll need the nudity-enabled dealy in AM, NoMosaic or another similar mod to zap the mosaic when they're nude, or just use nude "clothing." There are several versions out there.

The problem is that it requires everyone else to have a premium account in order to download it. I'm not paying those guys just do download it.

I managed to download it as i am a premium member but - i know i placed it in the correct file and everything but when i went on create a sim - it came up with a fully clothed sim - no matter what slides i pulled, clothes i changed, hats i tried on ect ect... the clothes remained - what am i meant to do?

I think you are confusing what this actually does. It is replacement skintone. When the sims have reason to be nude, they will not have "barbie doll" type skin, but will instead have this more "realistic" skin with nipples and other bits. If you want them walking around nude then go to SexySims2 and get the nudist set. It is a set of "nude" clothing. I would recommend it anyway because that way when you get a new skin, or tattoo accessory, you can get a good look at it without the Sims clothes in your way.

First of all.... waxing pubes?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I already wax other areas of my body (legs, eyebrows...) and there is no freaken way I am letting hot or warm wax get any where NEAR my girly bits.
Thankfully, those technosavvy Japanese folks have invented a fairly good shaver - seiko clean cut. Doesn't shave it SMOOTH but keeps it short enough to be 'shaved' but just long enough so you don't get ingrowns.... which you WILL get if you try to shave it with a razor!!!

And as for wanting sims to walk around in the NUDE.... ha ha ha. Bunch of horny geeks :P
