Authenticy of portrayal verified! She is also getting grabbed and stuffed into my game. When I get around to playing it. She can live in the same hood as my self pudding.

AFAIK, there is nothing in the game to stop you from choosing apparently conflicting traits.  Sims can be both grumpy and have a good sense of humour, handy and clumsy, athletic and a couch potato, angler and hate the outdoors, etc.

Traits and AntiTraits cannot be picked together, no matter what, but not all traits conflict with some of the things you'd think they do.

And loner and fambly orientated don't clash.

That's true. Especially from the viewpoint of the trait's description which indicates the person would behave differently around those it was close to in life. It's also true that people who generally like to be alone and are not as dependent on social interaction can be exceptionally caring and devoted because they will only show this side to someone who really matters to them.
