Fixes a problem with the new NL sectional sofas, whereby the sims would attempt to use the sofa as a doorway.

Symptoms: a sim will sit, stand-up, walk away, turn around, sit, etc... indefinitely, on the sectional sofas.

These are the only instances I have found at the moment, but there may be more.

Install into downloads directory.

For Nightlife only

If you have the walkby fix v1.1 you will need to download version 2 because it will clash with this code

If you have OFB, Then this problem would seem to have been resolved.

CBoy, I never had the exact behavior you described, but I had something similar. I clicked on the sofa and told my sim to lounge. She got up, walked to the other end of the sofa and sat down. I thought I had aimed badly on the pie menu and tried again, and lo and behold, she did the same thing again. I then clicked on the other section of the sofa (it was L shaped) and she finally 'lounged', but the option to watch tv (with the target thingwhatever) never came up.

Is that possibly another version of the sectional sofa bug? I think I shall download your fix in any case. Can't hurt, no ;D?

That problem isn't fixed in this version. This version is just for exit portals.

I can see a lot of problems with the sectional sofas, but my understanding of them is limited at the moment. I am sure there will be more updates at some point.

Is there any way you can get the sectional kitchen seats to not block sims from serving food or otherwise placing food on the side of a table facing the seat? They don't push in like normal kitchen seats so I'm not even sure that's possible. :(

I don't know if this is related, but I was playing with the boolprop debug mode on, and I got this error. I wasn't sure if it was related to hacks I was testing (none of which are related to sofas) or if this is some error related to sofas in general? Or if this is a benign issue, like maybe Maxis just left a Break Point in or something.

Dunno, but I figure maybe you might want to take a look, in case it is related to the sofa thing.

Not in my game Jordi :D My sim just walks through the walls if there is a sectional sofa placed by it, even post-patch.

When you say NL Only, do you mean wiithout UNI? I have the problem, but I have UNI installed too.

As long as you have Nightlife it will work with or without University.

It simply means it would not work if you don't have Nightlife install so people with University only should not install this mod.

The latest expansion pack installed takes precedence.
