Well, here's the Full US-Version Retail Disc Image of the game, you just need to mount it to Alohol 120%, install it and leave mounted.

This torrent has no crak, sine once you mount it to A120, the game will recognize it as the original image, you need a keygen tho. The version of the game is 1.0.631.00001.

When you open the launcher, look at the bottom left hand corner, it will tell you what your version is. If it says Version 1.0.631.00002, then it isn't the final version. If it says 1.0.631.00001, then it is the final, retail version.

I'm pretty sure that is incorrect.

I have the RZR version, and it tells me my version is 1.0.631.00002. Then the torrent that has been ripped from a retail disk says 1.0.631.00001. It is up to you if you want to ignore that or not, I'm going by what I am reading and seeing myself.

Everything I've been hearing is that the last number indicates region/type, not actual game code.

Now that you have said that, I remember reading that. I stand corrected it seems.

Last 5 digits are as Zazazu mentioned, the region/type codes.  00107 is the code for the Digital Download version.   00001 is US/North America, 00002 is a Multi lanquage release, 00003 and 00005 I believe are both Asian releases.

?! But the Razor with the patch installed is 1.0.632.

Yeah, I installed the Razor patch and the launcher still recognizes the game as 1.0.631 for some reason. However, all the files the patch updated show 1.0.632 so it should be alright.

I think what is happening is that "1.0.632" hasn't been officially rolled out yet, and those of us who have it only do so because of the leak (meaning the fact that EA had the patches up on their website in a place people were able to find). The launcher may not recognize the newer version # because we didn't actually patch via the launcher, we used standalone executables. It all depends on how the launcher determines what it thinks is the version #.

Just a theory, and I don't know what it all means in the long run. I suspect the 'riverview' problems are just typical EA pooch-screw, though.

The demonoid thread says there's no crack yet, and (very big) it does not include securom.

The Razor1911 one is retail, the Games version is 1.0.631 The region is the last part 00002 is International. 00001 is North America. Now can we please stop having confusion? The Reloaded copy was thought to be retail but was found not to be, it was possibly the one from February. Regardless the Razor1911 one is legit and is RETAIL!

Has anyone with the "REAL Final Version" noticed any difference when it comes to resource hogging etc?
If not, I think I will continue with the one I have...

Might as well.  There's only one seeder for the "FINAL" version right now, and he's only uploaded 6% so far, so I'd wait a day or two before downloading it.  And, besides, there might be something even shinier by then.

Sims 3 s a big game, as such it will be a resource hog, Sims 2 was as well. As stated this version will not be any different then the Razor 1911 release, they are the same thing.

Does anyone know where I can find just the original application.exe file for version 631?

I originally had the 615 and upgraded to a cracked 631, so now I cant instal the patch.

Honestly why would you trust people to make a patch from 615 to 631? It just incomprehensible how many issue you will eventually run into. You should when you get the chance just get the Razor1911 release.

I guess the answer to your question is 'no'.

Final word on the issue: 631.anything is the retail version. However, the Razor version is the "worldwide" region, while this particular one is the US edition. Other than being obnoxious, there are no differences and both are final. However, mds/mdf versions will respond better to future patching because there is no crack.

I found a no cd crack for the retail version at gamecopyworld.

I'm at work, so I can't even check this myself...but I feel like my retail copy is version blahblahblah 645. When I loaded it up yesterday I remember noticing it on the launcher and thinking it was odd, since I figured it would say 631. Maybe someone with the retail copy could check theirs out? Or whatever number I was looking at was not the game version at all, which is entirely possible.

Mine says 631.

I have a question, what's up with the whole RZR version and stuff like that?
My brother installed the arrr version of the game, but I have no clue if I need to update something or not, and if so, how? xD

If the version he installed was the very first one (Reloaded), then you need to get the Razor patch (it's around 700 mb), but it will leave your game in english, I wanted mine in spanish, but there was nothing I could do, not even on the windows registry :(

I'm currently downloading this and the full Razor release, but the speeds of the torrents from PB are terrible!

Why? Did they make a good job this time? The spanish TS2 was terrible (e.g. they would put "write in dairy" as "escribir en el periodico" that means "write in newspaper" instead of "escribir en el diario"  ::).)

I spent all of last night playing the retail version that was uploaded to Demoid by KChrissey.  (About a thousand downloaders went from 99.9% to seeders all at the same time.  What fun!)

It works perfectly.  I mounted with Daemon Tools, disabled internet and installed .  I used one of the Razor1911 keys. 

After installing, I deleted the desktop shortcut and replaced it with a handmade shortcut to TS3.exe.  That's in order to avoid using the "Launcher," which phones home and might undo all your nice work.

I'm using no crack, no NoCD, just the vanilla TS3.exe from the install.

Not a glitch.  I have the extra content, including Riverview and cars and clothes in some other downloads, and I will try installing them tonight and see how that goes.  But I can say I'm quite content with the stability of things so far.

How do you know which is which? xD And where would I find the patch?
Normally I'm not such a n00b, but I don't tend to download games, I just buy them. :P

I downloaded the RZR version but haven't installed it. The RLD version works just fine and I was able to install Riverview and the Prius with the launcher with no problems

I thought there is a difference in the official release in that it will install unmodified .sims3pack files while the rzr version needs to be run through Pescado's tools?

Nope. I have an official release ISO, the packages are simply corrupt and unreadable by any edition of game.
