Title: Influence hit limit? Post by: hooptytrib on 2009 May 11, 06:02:35 I had this happen once and did not think much of it. Tonight I noticed it in someone's story.

In my case, a fortune sim was either demoted or fired. The sim in this pic feared a relative would meet aliens, or so it is claimed. Both incidents happened with all major EPs installed. The point it brings up: might they have meant to only multiply gains x 5? Title: Re: Influence hit limit? Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2009 May 11, 06:05:18 THe 5x influence perk is susceptible to overflow due to TS2's use of int16 for data storage. If you fulfill a want that grants more than 6K influence with the 5x perk, you will instead overflow and lose influence.
